We loved the peaceful atmosphere. So tranquil and quiet. Seeing the stars and waking up to the birds chirping away was so refreshing.
Katy the host was lovely and accommodating to our needs.

Katy the owner was so friendly as well her dog Butler. Beautiful river which is easy access from the cabins. Our stay was short due to other committments during the day but by night it was so peaceful. We bonded because of no wi-fi which was great not having kids or us on technology. Different experience for us from our normal hotel/motel stay but we loved it.

This is not a luxury stay, but perfect for bushwalkers wanting a square meal and a comfortable bed before the Stinson hike the next day. The games room and the undercover TV areas were fun to use. The historical photo albums were interesting to look at.

We enjoyed our overnight stay at Christmas Creek Cafe & Cabins. The cabins were basic but clean, there was a small heater, enough to take the edge off the chill in the room and plenty of warm blankets provided. We made a small fire down by the creek and the kids loved playing in and around the creek. Was lovely to get away and disconnect from the everyday routine!

The location is Beautiful. Overall the accommodation was clean but it is not worth the Price.
We were the only people there and in the shared bathroom was a basket of used bars of Soap in sandwich bags.
I’m assuming on off for us to also use.

This property is highly over rated. There is NO running water in the cabin or in the outdoor kitchen. The cutlery, crockery, pots and pans were not clean. Certainly not Covid clean. We were not offered a free drink on arrival. The cafe was CLOSED. It is certainly NOT value for money.
The whole property is run down and needs major upgrades, new curtains, paint etc.

Back to nature
Good place to be close to nature and catch with friends and family.
Great location...nice and quiet. Basic but everything you need to ensure a comfortable stay. Amenities block nice and clean....loved the fresh lavender touch. We were doing the Westray Grave walk on the Sunday so decided to have a two night stay. Great to recharge your batteries and escape from the city.
Spent 2 nights at this beautiful spot. Like camping without the hassle. Basic facilities but clean and comfortable. Friendly & welcoming owners. So relaxing & the kids had a ball playing games & exploring.
Beautiful surroundings! Great for kids. Plenty to do from private camp fires, bush walks, tennis, basketball, playing in a magnificent creek. Lovely staff who cook an amazing breakfast!
