「Great host with great communication of check in and check out instructions. Cabin is in a very scenic mountain location. Cabin is in great condition and all amenities are as advertised. Everything you need for a great mountain vacation. The location is great. Short drive to Lake Lure and Chimney Rock. One hour to Ashville and 1 1/2 hours to Charlotte. Loca area is recovering from hurricane Helen nicely. We had a great stay. Everything exceed my expectations.」

「Everything was falling apart. Water was coming up through the floor. We couldn’t use one bedroom because the door and frame were falling off and had to be removed. We had to tighten screws and bolts on the tables. Everything outside is overgrown including trees growing in the gutters. The list is long. 」

Great communication with the management, but the house is well worn and in need of work. If the management makes suggested repairs and improvements it could be a lot better experience but it will take some time and money to fix all that is needed.
