  • Lake George Steamboat Company offers a variety of tours and tour lengths on three different boats. This is the Mohican, their largest. The trip was about 2.5 hours, cost about $23 per person and traveled from the southern point of the lake to about half way north. There is a snack bar but I did not visit it. There is commentary talking about the history of the lake, area and some of the houses. It was a very relaxing and pleasant way to spend the afternoon.

Very cute property with adorable cabins. Ours was right on the little creek with a back patio to sit and enjoy coffee. Speaking of coffee tho, there is no coffee maker in the room so be prepared for that! They have a shared kitchen space with a coffee maker, but that's just not my vibe. I need a lot of coffee and I don't want to leave my comfy home to get it. Otherwise the cabin was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay very much.

This is a great little cabin/hotel with a quiet bubbling brook behind it and open BBQ space, great for families. The wifi was hit or miss (mostly miss), and I wish the owners would consider adding wifi expanders for certain cabins. However, no wifi is not necessarily a bad thing for teenagers who really need a digital detox! Very friendly, helpful owners and generally quiet, although a mere five- to ten-minute walk from a busy tourist area.

For a good price its what you get

I booked online thought it was a wonderful price especially for our mini getaway for the 4th of July. I go to check in and my price was $10 more than what i originally booked. It looked like a cute cottage. The room was okay. Saw ants, spiders crawling everywhere on the floor. The bathroom is little outdated. Oh please bring your own shampoo because no shampoo was provided. If you want to brush your teeth there is warm water instead of hot water. This cabin lacks hot water when I also took my shower. I turned it to the highest temperature and still no hot water. It was a great location because we walked everywhere to downtown Lake George and looking forward to watching the fireworks. Everything was good except on 4th of July day going into Friday morning. People are not considerate of quiet time. Someone was shooting fireworks @ 1:30 am on Friday morning right outside my cottage. So I couldn't get any sleep. While it was an affordable price i will not be staying there next time.

Amazing property and great family staff the honesty cares about there property and there guests 1st time staying here and will definitely come back only negatives to mention are pool area could use some upgrades/repairs also they are in desperate need of some kind of vending machines for late night snack and drinks also the door handle has n my room was not in n the best shape but that was the only problem in my room all the other things mentioned could just be considered improvements
