"Likeable funky Victorian styling. Creaky floors added ambience. The huge bathroom had a bath with hand shower, bath leaked. The basin had serious cracks. Great Bistro downstairs."

"We had a wonderful stay and would happily return. The views overlooking the lake and boathouse were absolutely beautiful, and sitting in the lounge room by the fireplace while taking in the scenery was such a relaxing experience.The property was well-equipped with great amenities, making our stay comfortable and effortless. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the spa bath was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring.The location was fantastic with just a short distance from the town centre, making it easy to enjoy Daylesford’s cafés, shops, and restaurants.One of the highlights was the direct private access to the lake. Our dogs absolutely loved their daily walks along the water, and it made the stay even more special for us.Overall, a peaceful, comfortable, and dog-friendly getaway in a stunning location. Highly recommended!"

"The cottage was small but cute, clean inside but we found the flooring very cold and recommend foot wear ie slippers all the time whilst inside. It would have been better if there was a carport as the car got very frosty and we had to defrost it each morning.The cottage was near the main strip of shops and within walking distance of the Daylesford Lake which was a very enjoyable walk. Overall, a very nice weekend away."

"My friend and I had an amazing stay. The location was better than expected. We loved sitting on the back decking having a wine or two, wandering down to the lake, and walking to the town cemtre. We had dinner at the Boat house which was conveniently at our doorstep. The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms great. We really appreciated the complimentary wine and wifi... We returned to our lives thoroughly relaxed. We would definitely stay here again. Loved loved LOVED the charm of the place. Thanks for having us."

"Lovely and clean, excellent facilities with all you could want inside.A bit hard to find as no number on the cottage (bit confusing at first). Cold bathroom, didn’t know if there was a heater available.Edge of kitchen tile a bit sharp as it has no strip covering it.Power box very close to main bedroom door and nearly hit it a few times.Overall comfortable and clean.Cockatoos are very cheeky and love to bomb the cottage with the acorns they chew !"
