In the winter when the foliage is snow capped, the blue of the bay is more prominent. In the summer the activity on the lake creates a unique energy & magnetism. Enjoy it while entertaining on the expansive deck or make your way to the lake trail to explore.

The design of the home incorporates the vivid blues of the lake similar to the London Blue Topaz gemstone, known for creating a sense of calmness & comfort. The name “La Casona” comes from the original La Casona estate located in the town of Arada, Santa Barbara, in Honduras where the family dries the coffee crop harvested on the property in the courtyard each year. The gardens & treed surroundings are a familiar landscape to the original La Casona.

The area is quiet, peaceful, with tall mature trees. The front porch & garden welcome you & invite you to sit for a while, & enjoy the beauty of nature.
There is an attached owner residence on the property with its own separate private entrance. There are no shared spaces.
To make this property affordable and reasonable for couples there is an extra guest fee of $12 after 4 people.
The age minimum is 25 (families with kids welcome).
3-car parking available: one in the garage and two in the driveway.

The cleaning fee for 28+night stays is higher than the short-term cleaning fee in the listing. For stays 28 nights or longer, the cleaning fee is $255. The difference between this fee and the initial cleaning fee paid upon booking will be collected along with the deposits before check-in.
