"We stayed in this motel off season, in October, so we did not use the pool or the beach nearby. For us it was more a beautiful, quiet location to access other more crowded places at a good value. Having said this, the room was well maintained all in white planks with some black details. I would describe it as cute. One of the nights was a bit chilly and we put on the heating and it was fine although a blanket in the room could be a good addition for people going off season. We really enjoyed our stay at this motel."

"This a nice facility in a great location for exploring the Adirondacks. The property is clean. The staff is attentive. I have two concerns about this hotel. 1. There is some deferred maintenance that requires attention. One example is flooring that is uneven and cracked. 2. The shower is small. They use a shower curtain instead of a glass enclosure or shower door . Once the water is turned on the shower curtain is sucked inward coming into contact with you while you shower. I really don’t like that - especially considering how much the room is charged at per night."

"A very enjoyable stay. The staff was present to answer questions and assist in check-in. The room was clean and up to date, but still had that feeling of staying in a historical building. The on-site restaurant made us a delicious meal in a very short time, and the service was excellent. I only regret not staying an extra day to explore the town, but this was just an overnight stay on our way to a different destination."

"We loved the Twilight Cabin! Absolutely Adorable and So Cozy with the Gorgeous Stone Fireplace! We couldn’t find the hairdryer so I called the host Dick and he brought a new one right over. I cooked two full meals in the very efficient kitchen. We loved the grounds took walks to the waterfalls and pond! We had a great 3 days!"
