The property was very nice and clean, and the beds were comfortable. I have back issues and was able to sleep well throughout our stay. The two large bathrooms with double sinks, showers, and a tub were incredibly convenient for our family of seven.Check-in was easy, and the complimentary valet was a pleasant surprise. The staff were very responsive whenever we needed supplies—they even lent us a rice cooker, which we truly appreciated. The dryer was out of service, which was initially concerning, but the staff helped with our laundry daily, and it turned out to be a great blessing.Pool chairs were limited and could be hard to find. The beach in front of the property was rocky, so we walked toward the Westin each day, carrying our beach chairs and other items, having a wagon available would have been helpful.Overall, it was a great experience, and we highly recommend this unit.

Good overall

It was pretty good overall, but online listing description was inaccurate. We had to be transferred to a different unit. The balcony was blocked off and was not accessible.

Honua Kai Condo

Konea Tower was hard to find, but was a very nice resort. Parking was somewhat limited as well as the pool area. The condo was quite nice with easy access to the beach.

Amazing, Gorgeous, Perfect

We had the most fun and everything was perfect! Anytime we needed anything we were taken care of right away! We were right next to the pools and beach and Dukes. We adored it!! Highly recommend!

Perfect stay…

… to celebrate my husbands 60th birthday. We were on ground floor just a few feet from “the quiet pool” and there’s a restaurant on site — Dukes— serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and cocktails in little tiki huts overlooking beach. Beach a walkable 5 minutes away. Deluxe accommodation with granite counters, nice appliances. Maui Resort Rentals were prompt in responding to any request like an extra roll of paper towels etc. Beach chairs and cooler provided. Food trucks walking distance, grocery store Time Supermarket across the street, also walking distance. Beautiful grounds.

Perfect Stay

The ground floor condo was clean, beautiful, spacious, and well-suited for our party of 8. The easy and quick access to the lobby, pools, and beach were ideal for traveling with young children. We loved everything about our stay.

AMAZING!

We absolutely loved this property. Our ground floor two bedroom was just perfect. Not only was it beautiful inside, but it was steps away from the pools and beach. We swam with so many sea turtles right at the beach in front of the resort. We’ll be back!

We loved it!

Perfect condo for our family of 6. We loved the ease of access from the condo to the pool/beach. Lanai doors can be completely opened to enjoy the warm, tropical night air. Couldn’t have chosen a more relaxing space to enjoy our time in Maui.

Great stay. Nice beach. Wonderful for kids of all age

The apartment was magnificent. Even though you would miss the views that you would get from the top floors, the apartment makes it up for its accessibility to the pool. The kids were able to go to the pool all by themselves. The apartment had all the necessary goodies - boogie board, beach chairs, floaties - which were very useful. A small request to the owner - It would be good to provide some board games so that kids can play them. Would love to go back to this place. Highly recommend!

Can we stay longer?

An amazing location with kids and family! We were super stoked with the management company and their communication. Took a gamble on the bottom floor thinking it would work great for the kids to run and play and to be close to the pool without using the elevators etc … glad we gambled, do it! We will be back. The property unit has 98% of what you would need; others we had to buy like foil for grilling and coffee filters for the coffee pot.

Christmas in Maui

The condo unit worked well for our group of 6 and we liked our ground level unit where we could come and go through the lanai glass doors without getting into an elevator and walking down hallways - so convenient!! This unit was well outfitted. There are two suggestions: the oven is going to fail and needs repair. It would turn off by itself. The master bed mattress has a big middle dip and needs replacing. Frustrating to wake up with a backache in paradise!! Also, the “adult pool” as advertised allows kids, so not an adult pool after all. Besides these things, we really enjoyed the unit and our Christmas Vacation!!

Hard to beat!

I’ve been coming to Maui for 30 years, and I’ve been using VRBO for 4 years. Renting this property was a breeze- all of my questions were answered in a timely manner and my request for a rollaway was not an issue. Check in to the unit was quick and easy. The property was exactly as advertised. The unit was clean, and beautiful. We had more than enough space for our family of 6. We had a small hiccup with the beach umbrella provided in the room and my message was answered almost immediately and replacement umbrella was brought just as quick! In the past, most units I have rented have some form of community pantry that others contribute to during their stay (seasoning/tin foil/ baggies, etc). This room was pretty bare bones in that respect, but with Covid, it’s understandable. I could only find two small Tupperware for food storage, but This was a minor detail and we were able to purchase what we needed. The room was stocked with local coffee, soaps and a bottle of water and chocolates which was great! We opted out of the mid week clean, but I would recommend it as we ran short on TP and paper towels, and the ventless dryer (very common in condos) made washing our bath towels a long process. Having the property manager bring fresh towels during a mid week clean would be ideal. Overall, this ground floor unit is amazing and I would rent it again without hesitation. Access to pools was extremely easy, and the unit overall was perfect.
