Swimming at the beach out the back door

We had a great time staying here. Really close to the places we wanted to go for snorkeling and surf. The only drawback is the amount of road noise at night. The one bedroom is not well soundproofed especially if you want outside airflow. It wasn’t a problem for us but be aware.

We had rented at Hale Mahina A105 and a couple other units approximately 8 years ago, the pool, lawn and garden foliage were well kept. The beach had lost 70% of its sand, A105unit had very little maintenance, the carpet was very dirty as was the rest of the unit

Excellent Vacation Spot

We had a wonderful stay. This vacation had been previously postponed because of the Maui fires. We loved seeing the turtles everyday. Snorkeling right outside the backdoor. It was an amazing spot. We would highly recommend it.

Best part is the view

Didn't realize there was no air conditioning until we got there and the condo was stuffy. The only way to get natural air flowing through the condo is to open the windows in the bedroom and living room. The problem with that is, the bedroom is right next to the walkway, and stairs, and is facing the parking lot so we couldn't leave them open while using the bedroom. It was also very loud in the bedroom with people using the stairs, walking by, the road was noisy and every morning there was always something going on (trash pickup, lawn care, loud trucks). The condo itself needs to be updated. The carpet had stains, cracked tile, dishwasher took some muscle to get it to close properly to use, and small bugs on the kitchen counter that we couldn't keep away. The best part of this condo is the accessibly to the pool and beach/ocean.

Perfect location

Aloha! We had a spectacular time at this location. Between the daily sea turtle sightings, snorkeling and proximity to shops and restaurants, our days were filled with activities. The evenings were very tranquil and we slept very comfortably. Mahalo and aloha!

Great getaway!

Everything was great except the dish washer didn’t work. My daughter &I loved the fact we could easily walk right out to the pool, grassy area, & beach from our lani. We could have used more barbecue utensils. But it was great using the barbecues right outside our room I would go back again.

Relaxing stay

Beautiful location with wonderful beach. Great atmosphere and Larry is a gem. Actual rental was clean and ok. Really could use an updating. Couple of issues that were minor but need addressed.

Nice Condo and Resort

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo is nicely outfitted and is on the ground floor so you can walk right out to the beach. It was a huge plus. There were a couple of minor issues however the owner was extremely responsive. The complex is fairly small which was nice because you were able to meet the same people from day to day and make friends. We met some really nice people we plan on keeping in touch with. The grounds and beach were amazing. We saw whales everyday and turtles on the beach on two different occasions. The only thing I could say that could be improved upon is the bathroom is very small and out dated. That said it was clean and we didn't spend much time in there anyway. We will definitely be going back.

Great property, wonderful host

My husband and I really enjoyed staying here. It was important to me to be able to walk right out to the beach. We saw whales and sea turtles. When the water was calm enough, the beach was nice to swim at. Everyone we met during our stay was kind and welcoming. It was cozy, relaxing, and quiet. We would definitely stay here again whenever we come back to Maui.

Location is perfect!

Condo is great with a private lanai right on the beach. This condo is walking distance to a farmers market, an ABC store and a bike rental shop. Very close to Kaanapali beach and Lahaina. Second time to this property and I would go back it's that good!

Great location. Some small, local shops and restaurants are a short walk away. Literally just steps from the beach. Got to see a couple of turtles on the beach/just off the shore. 10/10 would recommend

Fantastic Condo & Hosts

My daughter and I stayed for 7 nights and Michael & Rose happened to be staying in their other unit A101 those same days. It was great to meet them because they are such sweet and accommodating people. They showed us their other two units which fabulous as well. Great views in A206 and A101 is huge and incredible. Our unit was pristine well stocked and the views and beach access were phenomenal. Everything was perfect and we’ll be back for sure!!!

Enjoyable

We stayed here 2 yrs. ago. We love waking up in the morning to have coffee on the deck watching the whale 🐳 in the distance. The turtles 🐢 would come and beach on the sand every day and be gone by morning. Sunsets are beautiful every evening. Larry the grounds keeper keeps the grounds clean everyday. Wonderful place will be back again.

Relaxing stay on the beach.

Cute, comfortable well kept, well stocked older condo with a fantastic lawn and private beach in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Loved walking out ground floor to lawn and beach - patio still private with lovely plantings. Beautiful ocean view from kitchen, living room and patio. Only drawback: no AC but nice breeze through condo. Nice break from the busy resorts where it is hard to get a beach/pool chair.

Amazing property and location. Every day was a turtle and whale show. Very close to markets, all kinds of food places and the fish market is amazing. Michael was very quick to respond to questions. Thank you for sharing this incredible piece of paradise. We’re already planning our next trip.
