「Absolutely amazing stay such a good location as well! 」

「This is a great place. The rooms were clean, the neighborhood quiet but walking distance to the walled city and the historical downtown. Having breakfast on the terrace looking at the sea was delightful. The staff was fantastic. Rosa and her colleague went above and beyond making sure I was comfortable. I recommend Sensations Guesthouse to anyone looking for a great stay in Lagos. 」

「Unfortunately, I would never recommend this guesthouse. It is rated 9.2/10 but should be rated 6/10 online. The photos on the website are insanely deceptive. There was blood on our bed when we walked in, the curtains were completed stained, the faucet leaked uncontrollably, and the chair in the corner of the room was filthy. Perhaps the villas or apartments were better but this was our experience in the guesthouse room. I am a pretty flexible traveller, but this was not good. Very unfortunate...

「The room and bathroom were excellent and the brkfst was perfect. The air/heat was working well. Everyone was very helpful and ready to offer more. The last morning we were there they laid out an early breakfast even though I think we were the only ones there and were leaving before breakfast would normally have begun. My husband and I would definitely recommend Villa Rio Guest House to friends. 」

「Overall, my stay was good. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the room was spacious with a large, clean bathroom. Good value for money. However, the bed sheets weren’t changed during my stay despite what was mentioned in the description, and there was no toaster or iron. The window couldn’t be opened, so the room felt a bit dark in the mornings. Apart from these small issues, everything else was fine and comfortable.」
