"Spotless, serene, and truly welcoming!We loved every minute of our weekend stay. The hosts made us feel right at home with their friendly, genuine warmth. You could tell how much care goes into maintaining the property—it was, without a doubt, one of the cleanest places we've ever stayed. "I love how this motel is located at the mouth of Cape Breton and right by the ocean. Unfortunately it's also beside a railway track. If like me, you can sleep through the train noise throughout the night, it's actually a nice comfortable place to stay. I also appreciate that we were provided plenty of toiletries."

"Quaint, historic property with charm galore. Waterfront property with dock was spectacular, but shares lawn with another camper close by. Strong doggie odor throughout property, great for dog lovers, not so great for allergies: recommend new furnace filter and odor sanitizing. Lost power during our stay but super responsive host and a generator onsite within minutes. Lobster delivery (for a fee) was a plus!"
