Hotel offering good value for money and nicely located to explore the Fort Kochi area by foot. A number of nice restaurants are within walking distance.
Lovely central hotel - good meals .
Beds hard , our second night was extremely noisy from restaurant below.
Pool wasn’t working during our stay unfortunately
Handsome property and pleasant rooms. Couldn't figure out the TV. Safe had to be replaced. Pool closed at 6pm. Breakfast was very slow and not memorable.
Overall we had a pleasant experience. The PRO (Public Relations Officer) Mr.Mark was very helpful in giving tour tips. Take note that they normally close their gates at 11pm, so if your are reaching past midnight just alert the security at the gate.
The hotel is well located near the center of Fort Kochi yet it is very quiet. The rooms are specious, clean and comfortable.
Breakfast is basic, but there are great coffee places around.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Comfortable hotel in a historic location.
Fort Kochi has a lot of historic places to visit but it is small and thus after 3 days you've
seen it all. The beaches are filthy as is the sea so not a nice spot to stay longer..
The hotel was comfortable but the food in the restaurant (fish and meat) were not high
standard or fresh.
Very good location.just opposite the ferry landing area and fishing nets. Large comfortable rooms. Clean pool. Excellent restaurant Unfortunately the tour desk was closed so we were unable to get any guidance at all
Good food and friendly helpful staff. Wine available. Well maintained pool. Comfortable, spacious air conditioned room with en suite. Close to ferries to Vipeen island and Kochin city centre. Many places of interest within walking distance. Spice market, and other attractions in Mattancherry can be reached by auto-rickshaw in a short time.
Hotel is well-placed, very neat and staff are helpful. However, on the final day we left our bags with the receptionist and came back later in the day to discoer they had been left completely unattended. This aside, it is a very worthwhile place to stay
Das Hotel ist super gelegen. Es hat grosszügige zimmer und eine geniale dusche. Das personal ist bis zum securitypersonal am eingang durchgehend angenehm und überaus freundlich.
The staff was extraordinarily friendly and helpful. Restaurant was excellent.

OVERBOOKED - REFUSED TO REFUND
We booked Killians through Expedia and confirmed our reservation by contacting the hotel. Yet, when we arrived, they said they were overbooked and put us in another (lower quality) hotel, and refused to refund us the US $741 we paid for two rooms for two nights.
The worst airlines and hotels are honest enough to issue a refund AND upgrade you when they are overbooked, but not Killians! BEWARE!
After much research, we booked Killians for Dec 30 and 31, very busy nights in Fort Cochin. Because we booked through Expedia, we emailed the hotel to confirm the reservation was properly processed. We received confirmation from both Midhun and Nixon. But, when we arrived on Dec 30, the hotel manager (Nixon) claimed they didn’t have our reservation in their system. After showing Nixon the emails from the hotel, he admitted there must have made some sort of mistake, but since they didn’t have rooms available, we would have to stay in an alternate hotel that they made arrangements with.
The alternate hotel was close by, but it was significantly inferior to what we paid for when booking Killians (and much, much lower ranked on TripAdvisor). It was an Indian business-style hotel with no character, low quality food, no pool, and malfunctioning air conditioning in one of the two rooms.
(Please note, Expedia forces reviewers to review all categories, so we had to review the room even though we never entered them)
A nice hotel in a very central position in Fort Kochi, right by the bus stand and the Chinese fishing nets - I expected it might be noisy but I couldn't hear anything from outside once in my room which was comfy, very clean and pleasant. Staff were helpful, a packed breakfast was provided for my early start, and I would happily recommend this.
The hotel has a nice ambiance, rooms are nice and spacious. The staff was really helpful. We did not like the restaurant as we are vegetarians and they cater to seafood and meat fans. At the end of a busy day we were looking for some simple curd rice or salad and the waiter told us they did not have anything vegetarian. What was funny is on looking into the menu we find couple types of rice and yogurt! :-) A little more though fullness on their part would help. And a few vegetable dishes for the random vegetarian guest.
We had four hotel stays during our time in Kerala and Killians Boutique Hotel rated the best. From the time we checked in and were greeted by the friendly guard at the gate to the lovely receptionist at the check in counter we were impressed with the quality of staff and service at this hotel. This may have something to do with the owner being present on site also. The room was very comfortable, well furnished with an upgraded large bathroom. Our room was facing the road, however there was minimal noise by day or night. Although the hotel was close to much of the action it was not the most fancy part of Fort Kochi. We were prepared to overlook this fact due to the quality of the hotel. Killians is rated a 3 star hotel yet we thought the service ranked it up with a 5 star hotel.
We got our room right away despite the fact that we arrived around 09.30, great!
We had some very good fish at the restaurant, the fish
curry Alleppy was exelent and Grilled Red snapper Masala was awsome.
All in all pleasently suprised, though it was rather expensive as it was just before Christmas.
The best part of the KIllians Boutique Hotel are the well designed rooms which are well maintained. The attention to the guest by both NIxon and Nikita is genuine and suggestions quickly implemented. The Seafood open restaurant is an option to taste the local seafood and should be tried - A great place when all tables are occupied.
Friendly staff, correct bedding configuration (3 adults in 1 room), walkable distance to Chinese Fishing Nets, breakfast was ok, didn't use pool but looked clean. Overall a good place to stay.
