"You can’t beat the location, just next door to the train station and a 10-minute walk to the historic merchant town. Room was more spacious than most. Dinner was excellent. Lots of choices for breakfast. Small but lovely onsen. Helpful and welcoming staff. Highly recommend."

"This was a cozy little hotel in the small town and the room had a nice water view. The room was clean and it had a vanity and toilet (with no bath), but it was absolutely sufficient for us. The hot spring was on the top floor with nice view as well. The meals were nice. The dinner was "kaiseki" style where each person was served a set menu. It was pretty and tasty as well. We liked their breakfast buffet as well, although they served many of the same items every day. (We stayed 3 days) We happened to like what was served. The only slightly disappointing thing was that they served the exact same dinner on our 1st night and 3rd night. Had we known that, we could have stayed only 2 nights. Overall, we recommend this hotel."
