We loved our short stay at Buri Rasa. Such a special place in Koh Phangan. We visited and stayed all over the island and this resort is by far the classiest. Having said that, this is ‘sanitised’ Koh Phangan (only ONE cannabis shop we spied in the village, as opposed to the customary ‘every other shop’ experience!) and we absolutely loved our very different, more authentic stay just before at Secret Beach Bungalows. But Buri Rasa is delightful on lots of levels (staff, stylish rooms, nice breakfast, great happy hour with fabulous cocktail waiters)…and a great choice for families with children. We came with our 16 year old and were glad to escape the cannabis shops for a few days! Fabulous resort

Right on the beach. Complete with a pool and spa. A great restaurant, and a cracking cocktail list. This is a gem. Brilliant staff, chilled vibe. Close enough to a range of eating options but quiet and relaxing. This is not for you if you want to party all night or need shopping malls, but for feet in the sand and relaxation, don’t think twice.

Beautiful resort!!

Extremely happy with our choice to stay at the Buri Rasa. Nice room, brilliant breakfast, perfect location for a quiet but still enjoyable stay! The atmosphere was amazing and everyone we met were so welcoming and friendly! We will definitely be back for a longer stay next time we visit Koh Phangan! Oh… and using their own transfer is a little more expensive but totally worth it!!

Before you set off to this beautiful hotel be sure to book the transfer with the speed boat, you will be met at the airport, taken to the pier then a shared trip to the beach in front of the hotel. We were met by "Mild" (her easy to pronounce name) she was a beaming ambassador for the hotel, whilst our luggage was taken to our room we were given the tour of the hotel. Which is all well kept and a beautiful place to be. During our stay all the staff were welcoming but 2 members stood out and they are "Mild" and "Dear" both always had this warm welcome and nothing was any trouble, their smile and warmth really added to our stay and we want to thank them for making our stay so wonderful! If you want a relaxing holiday on the best beach on the island then this please is for you!

Wonderful property and staff Literally steps to the beach. Quaint little street connected to the property with very good western food 7/11 and mini marts within 5 min walk. Cute pool lots of families with small kids so not a party place but very cool and chill. Very calm water waist deep paddleboards available. Nice sun rise location if weather permits. Only negative might be pool hours 7 to 7 Great spot would return again

We had a beautiful weekend at this property. We loved the beach. It is totally worth it and convenient to book the speed boat! And, if you are lucky Nancy will greet you when you arrive to the property. I think she is very genuine and makes a difference. There's also a gentleman who works at the Front Desk who is equally kind. We had a great time, and I loved the coconut scented lotion in the room :) I bought one to take home with me!

Cute small hotel at one of the most beautiful beaches in the island. Breakfast is quite small with not much variety. Each evening hotel restaurant has quite nice events and restaurant prices are reasonable. Customer service at the hotel is unfortunately not too good. We have had one issue and hotel didn't been able to make us happy after that again...but still a place which can be recommended.

We had a wonderfull stay at Buri Rasa with our 1.5 year son. The staff is great, no request is too crazy and they really go to all extends. The only bad thing is that we had to leave the hotel after a few days ;) We will definitely come back to this place. We came to celebrate our honeymoon, the location of the hotel is in an area far from the center of Phangan, but quiet and charming with a very small avenue of nice restaurants and a mini market. Beach and amazing view. The room was relatively small with very minimal fittings, for example there were no mirrors in the room except the bathroom mirror. In my opinion, the hotel is good but does not justify the high score it received (9.4), such a score requires a wow and it is very ordinary, in conclusion: for those who are looking for a calm and peaceful place to spend their next vacation, the hotel definitely meets the needs
