Football Weekend

We waited too long to get a hotel closer to the stadium so we search VRBO and found this cottage. It is a great location, straight shot into downtown Knoxville. There are restaurants and fast food close by if you need something. The cottage was clean and stocked with what you may need (extra towels, toilet paper, etc.). Nice little kitchen, plenty of comfortable seating in the living area for the four of us. Gary was a great host and made everything easy. Thanks for sharing your cottage with us!

Great stay!

Very clean in an excellent and quiet location, and very convenient to downtown and other attractions. The host is very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed for our two night stay. Made our trip very enjoyable!

Weekend stay for Vols game

Traveled to Knoxville for the Vols vs. Mizzou game. Home was close to stadium/university as well as had many choices nearby for lunch/dinner. Also was super close to Walmart! Gary was very responsive and very welcoming when we arrived. Would definitely stay again if we are in the area!

Great Stay

Weekend trip for UT Homecoming. Cottage was perfect for the four of us. Everything was just as described. It’s a close drive to the stadium.

Cozy Cottage and a great host

This was out home away from home over the holidays. It was convenient to the major roads, Knoxville and the Sevierville-Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg/Smokey Mountains area. The cottage was warm and cozy, clean and well-kept. Gary had left snacks and drinks which were much appreciated. He let us know if we needed anything, he was available to help. Check-in and check-out were easy. Definitely would stay here again.

Great Stay

This place was great for the weekend. It was a fairly short drive from Neyland and conveniently close to food, grocery stores, and convenience stores. The check in process was super easy. Gary sent me a message with the address and the door code and we got right in with no issues. He offered to put snacks and drinks in the house for us which was nice. The beds were quite firm which is a personal preference for us but some may not like. We did wish there were tv’s in the bedroom as we like to sleep with one on but this was definitely not a dealbreaker. Overall very happy with the home. We don’t make it to Knoxville very much but will be looking into the availability of this home if we do!

Awesome place and host!

We went down for a concert and a college football game, great location, the host is super nice, was asked what beverages and snacks we liked and when we got there the snacks were waiting and the beverages were in the fridge. The place was so clean, very cozy, made you feel at home. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Great location just far enough away from town to avoid some of the downtown lights. House was just what our group of four needed being in town for the football game.

Comfortable and quaint

We really enjoyed our stay at this cute little house. The new renovations made it really comfortable. It reminded me a lot of my own home, so it was very relaxing. The owner is super nice and very accommodating. He provided snacks, coffee and bottled water. He made sure we knew he was available if we ever needed anything. We will definitely be back! Thank you Gary!

Would give 10 stars if I could

I needed somewhere to stay on short notice and found Gary’s house. The overall experience was amazing. House was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, great location, and has a fully stocked kitchen. I really felt at home, owner is nearby so I felt safe and if I needed anything he was so helpful and accommodating. I will definitely be coming back next time I am in town. It’s such a relief I don’t have to search for a place to stay anymore. LOVE IT HERE!!!!
