This trip marked our fifth straight year staying at the Country Land Guest House! Wonderful property- our third time staying here. The house is large enough for everyone to have their own space and lots of room to gather for meals and games around the big table. The upgrades since our last visit are great- new kitchen cabinets and stove. The best is the outside area- new deck and pool shed with covered seating and pool and concrete surround. New chaise lounges around pool. Location is great. Great place for a family vacation.

The layout was absolutely perfect of the house. My daughter absolutely loved the bunkbeds. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed for enjoying family meals. The location was close to everything we wanted to see, which made adventuring a very easy. To top it all off the pool was absolutely the perfect way to start and end of the day. We will definitely be returning again.

This property is in the center of Lancaster County Amish. We enjoyed seeing all the horse and buggies passing the house. The pool was a plus for everyone. The house was very clean and up to date. The hosts are quick to respond. Beautiful Lancaster, Co. views out the back windows over the pool area of Welsh Mountain! Would recommend this property to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

The house is perfect for many types of groups but our sewing & quilting group enjoyed our visit a lot. The house is lovely and perfectly maintained with all the comforts of home. The kitchen is well outfitted for any kind of cooking, beds are comfortable, and so is the furniture. The views from the family room were lovely in late October with the trees in their full glory. Thanks Rachel and Gideon for sharing your lovely house with us.

We are a family of 7, including grandparents, parents, and kids ages 3-10. The flow and arrangement of the rooms allowed privacy as well as several comfortable communal spaces…including a few table options for meals. The house was fitted with all the amenities you could want, including fun games/activities for kids. The house was clean, beautifully decorated with thoughtful details. The owners were friendly and easy to deal with, and helpful with all of our questions about the area. Highly recommended. We’d definitely return. Barbara and Art
