"We wanted to try a different type of accommodation on our trip to Kinsale. The contact was very responsive initially. Had to send a couple of additional e-mails as we approached our arrival date to get a reply. When the property was booked I provided a card that I thought we be used at that time. By the time it was used the card had expired and a new one issued. My mistake. Getting to the property was easy enough with ample parking on the street. What we didn't expect were the stairs leading up to the front door and once inside. Felt like the Amalfi coast at first. Entry/exit instructions were clear and easy to follow. Room key needs to be re-keyed. Took some finesse to make it work the entire week. When additional towels were requested they came promptly while we were out. The bathroom door would not completely shut. the Unit overall was pretty clean, but needs maintenance and upkeep. The building front door does not completely close and secure. A sign is posted on the door on the inside informing guests of that, but we found the door open many times going from/to the property. I would recommend older guests consider the stairs when making reservations. While the property wasn't quite what we expected, it was fully booked. Location is very good just steps from the Black Pig restaurant and a two minute walk to morning coffee and pastries and the Post House and Kinsale Bakery. About a 5 minute walk into town. We are thankful for the Old Dispensary. Grazie"

"The house was higher priced than the other places we stayed but we needed a washer which they have 2 but hard to get soap in top washer no dryer. Start your wash early if you want it to dry. Plenty of places to sleep. They didn’t provide body wash for the price I feel they should have soap. It was a holiday and we literally couldn’t buy soap anywhere .. pharmacy closed and grocery store didn’t sell soap crazy . I was able to buy soap the day we left at a soap shop . Thank goodness lol We enjoyed our stay regardless right in town and a car park around the block if no street parking"

"This is a very spacious and beautifully decorated home with a wonderful view of the river. It is very close to the town of Kinsale. The home is updated and had all the amenities we needed. We would definitely come back here again."
