About this property
Ground floor central apartment
This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. Located in the centre of Kingsbridge with parking for one car and within walking distance of all the shops, the cinema, the sports centre as well as local pubs and restaurants. It’s a great location to explore the town and the many area’s of outstanding natural beauty around the area.
Originally converted in 2001, Bottom Corner, has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The staircase up to the house is still visible, however, it is boarded up from the other side with acoustic panelling to ensure your privacy. The open plan living space is complete with it’s own motorbike, a Yamaha SR500 imported in 1981, after all it was a garage.
There is a washing machine and tumble dryer housed in the floor to ceiling cupboards, plus combination microwave, recycling and rubbish bins. There is a slimline dishwasher, full size fridge freezer, oven, hob and Nespresso coffee machine.
The bedroom has a king size bed, lots of wardrobe space and a chest of drawers.
The bathroom has an electric shower with constant hot water.
Small sized cars can park in front of the double doors, but larger cars will have to park on the hill to ensure easy access for other neighbouring cars and access to the accommodation as the doors open outwards.

Kingsbridge is a market town in the beautiful South Hams. A great location to explore the many beaches from the UK’s no 1, Blackpool Sands, to the surfers paradise of Bantham and Bigbury-on-Sea. For something different, head towards the Moors and the wild roaming Dartmoor Ponies. Take a tour of the multiple National Trust properties in the area including Agatha Christie’s place, Greenway House. Surrounded by many local providers of exceptional food and drink, a weeks stay just won’t be long enough.
There is parking for one small to medium car outside in front of the double doors but do not pull up to close as the doors open outwards. If you have a larger car, it is easier to park facing down the hill. There is a bus stop at the top of the road or on the quay if needed. THE GOOD HOUSEKEEPING BOND As per our listing details, we operate using a Good Housekeeping Bond and whilst we do not take a physical deposit, we have up to 14 days after departure to charge for any additional cleaning or damages caused during your stay and not reported. We understand that accidents can happen so please let us know if you have anything to report before your departure. Thank you

Please keep the noise down especially after 10pm - It is not permitted to charge electric vehicles using the property`s electricity supply.

This apartment is lovely. It's compact, warm and has everything you need. Kingsbridge town is walkable so shops and restaurants are nearby. The owners are easily to communicate with and can offer help if needed. Would recommend for sure :)
Excellent communication with host Ali, property clean and had everything you needed...except hand soap in bathroom. Really comfy bed and slept well. Quite a unique and clever garage conversion, perfect for us for a couple of nights. Not far to walk into the town, although steep hills (fine for us).

The property location is handy for Kingsbridge centre within a tiny housing estate. The same was clean, however there was a very musty smell throughout and damp in the wardrobe. The smell was very strong and off putting. The photos built up expectations.
Difficult to find even with location instructions which to be fair had been sent well in advance, taxi dropping us off was confused & we only found it due to a helpful neighbour! The main issue was the heating as it was freezing when we arrived & we had to call the hosts to get it switched on & bring heaters. There was then no central heating the next morning so we had to rely on the electric heaters. We arrived late - it would have been lovely to have had some milk in the fridge for a cuppa! Soap dispenser was empty so had to find somewhere open to buy some. While we appreciate some people might like having a big motor bike in the sitting room, it was not to our taste- maybe the owners could mention this upfront in their publicity as a feature? On the positive the owners let us have a late check out & we’re very friendly!
