「Small family owned hotel. Located in a remote location, so very peaceful and quiet. In the evening there is a nice fireplace in the lounge. Perfect for a quick pre or post dinner hangout on a chilly night. Drive to the hotel is filled with scenic views of the water, rolling hills dotted with grazing sheep! 「Convenient location in Portree. Rooms are modest but well maintained. There's a public parking lot right out front which is nice though it probably gets filled quickly as visitors visit the town, and they ticket cars right as the free overnight period ends in the morning.」

「No parking on site. Rooms are old but seems renovated recently. Rooms are not sound proof. You can hear noise from restaurant and bar downstairs till 11:30pm when they close it. Good for couple of days. Location of the hotel is good. Staff is very courteous and nice. 」

「Quiet, beautiful setting on the bay while sheep graze. Staff was friendly and helpful. The cold breakfast was quite large, with a variety of meats and cheese, fresh vegetables and fruit, cereal and muffins. The bed was a little hard and it would have been nice to have something to place our toiletry kit in the bathroom.We loved the towel warmer!」

「We enjoyed the quiet location and it was an ideal spot for exploring the highlights of the Isle of Skye. The location needs a bigger sign to indicate the driveway. We had to ask some strangers for directions when we were trying to find it. We could also have used a bit more toilet paper and towels. The pillows in the room with the double bed were thin and unsupportive. Apart from this we had a pleasant stay.」
