Very close to Killarney was very convenient that way. The day we explored Killarney we were too exhausted that evening to figure out where to eat so we decide to eat at the hotel restaurant/bar and it was very good.

This hotel was great but does need a little refresh. It's looking dated but it met our needs and the front staff were great. The breakfast was fantastic as were the staff. We were late for dinner but the bar was well attended and food we saw looked awesome. Yes I'd return and recommend.

Staff were all super friendly and helpful. Building is old, however for its vintage the room was surprisingly quiet. Breakfast was tasty with a good selection

Our stay here was just okay.the room was okay but you can hear people walking around upstairs very clearly. The real downsides here was the breakfast which was very poor and everything was done on the cheap.

Catherine at the front desk was super lovely and we had no trouble checking in or out! The food here is also great and convenient when you’ve had a long day of travel. I definitely recommend their seafood chowder! Yum! Breakfast was also super good and convenient before heading out for the day! The room was spacious and clean. We loved our stay here.

Beautiful clean room with heated bathroom floors. Bed was comfy and the food in the pub/restaurant was top notch. Would definitely stay again. There isn’t any nearby restaurants or services so it was great that the hotel had such good food. The breakfast had many options k clding cold cuts and pastries and the hot options were cooked to order. This was a jewel of a find for our road trip to the Ring of Kerry.

Very happy with lady at reception. She was welcoming and guided me on my upcoming tours. The lady server at breakfast was very friendly and brought us delicious breakfast according to what we ordered. Enjoyed the skippers at breakfast. Hot and tasty. Chef made delicious food. Thank you!!

Terrific location on the edge of Killarney. Plenty of free parking. Good restaurant and bar on site. The breakfast was very generous.

We had a nice stay in this hotel. The beds are big and the bathroom had a nice pool. Breakfast to forget … poor and low quality. Ideal position to visit Killarney National Park and the Ring of Kerry.

The Torc is a highly recommended hotel. From the location, the warm welcoming staff, and the five star dining experience, it’s a must stay hotel. The breakfast in the morning delicious!

The lady at the reception desk was great and the breakfast was good. The place is old and had an odor. Our room was so small we could barely fit our luggage in it. The bathroom was so small too. We tried to get into the Adare Manor Castle but it was already full. The Torc was the only other hotel. Luckily it was only for 1 night.

+ Wir haben ein Doppelzimmer inkl. Frühstück gebucht. Das Zimmer war sauber und ruhig und das Bett war bequem. Es sind ausreichend Parkmöglichkeiten direkt am Hotel vorhanden. - Ein kleiner Kühlschrank im Zimmer wäre noch praktisch gewesen. Trotz vorheriger Anfrage, ob es vegane Optionen beim Frühstück gibt, war die Auswahl leider sehr beschränkt (Toast, Marmelade, Cornflakes, Obst). Auf Nachfrage bekam ich Hafermilch, die allerdings bereits am 2. Tag/Frühstück leer war, da offenbar nur 1l gekauft wurde und wohl auch andere Gäste (verständlicherweise) Interesse daran hatten. Zudem bestellte ich einmal ein warmes irisches Frühstück bestehend aus einer "gegrillten" Kartoffel, die alt und bröselig schmeckte, einer "gegrillten" Tomate, die fast komplett roh war und ein paar Pilzen (ok) - also leider nicht empfehlenswert.

A quaint old-fashioned-- in good ways-- hotel. Room was big, clean and comfortable. Nice that they have an onsite restaurant, bar and very large breakfast room -- complete with a nice hot breakfast (that even includes Bailey's 😁). And a lift/elevator. Only 2 complaints: 1). One must either drive or take a taxi into town-- no public transportation close by and (2) No A/C or fans. Overall, though, a lovely place to stay.
