Nice but needs a spruce-up

TV HDMI inputs are worn. Causes them to be ghosted as an input selection. Carpet has a few large stains. Overhead fan in bedroom and switch not working.

Great location

It was much nicer than I expected and the location within the complex was perfect. Very easy in and out. The unit is a little dated, but not a big deal. I would definitely rent this unit again. We kept the door open in the bedroom and were plenty cool during the night.

Dated, Tired Condo

The Kamaole Sands property/location/amenities are spectacular, the condo however, is as the title says. This unit is in its original condition and is in desperate need of a complete redo. If that is not possible, then at the very least it needs painting throughout, and the stained original carpets replaced with flooring. There are no useable beach chairs or umbrella either. This condo does have a wonderful view of the property and ocean though.

Great location with ocean view.

Condo was clean and well appointed. The unit could use some updates and minor cosmetic repairs, which did not negatively impact our enjoyment or use.

If picky don't stay here

Carpet fity get rid of it. Throw away trash beach chairs. Need plastic glasses for pool area. Showers work but awful . Kitchen is fully stocked and clean. Bed soft and clean. U would only come back if there was nothing else.

Remodel Long Overdue

This condo is in very poor condition. Carpets are old and filthy, no way to clean something that old and matted. Walls look like children painted them 20 years ago. A/C unit iced up and doesn’t cool. Towel bars fall off the wall. Shower tile and grout is from the 80’s and is nasty. Tub shower slow to drain. Beach furniture is so bad good will wouldn’t even take it. Outdoor furniture is all chipped and gross. This unit needs a complete gut.

The unit we stayed at was old and could really could use a remodel.

The sofa mattress was thin and not comfortable at all. The carpet needs to be replaced or at least steam-cleaned. The A/C unit was old and loud. The portable fan in the bedroom was very loud. The bedroom could use an A/C unit instead of that portable fan. The shower doors could use an upgrade. The baseboards were dirty/dusty. I will never stay at this unit again! And for the price paid, not likely to stay at this property either. Very disappointing!

Simple, comfortable, great location.

Simple, comfortable, great location. Check in process was easy. The location is great, right across from the beach. It’s walking distance from restaurants and shops. Condo is simply appointed but comfortable. All the amenities you need. And the pool on the property is really nice..

Kihei condo

This condo is located in the Kamaole Sands development right near the beach. It is in a great location. The exterior of this development is very well taken care of...freshly painted, clean, and the landscaping is beautiful. This particular unit was not managed by the resort and is individually owned and managed. We got to the condo very late at night after flying in from the mainland. It was extremely hot and we couldn't get the AC to work. We called the property managers and left a message but never got a response. We managed to get it to work later. Also, the AC is located in the living room and the bedroom is down a very long hallway and the cool air doesn't get down there well. The condo had all the basics that we needed...kitchen essentials and such. The biggest disappointment was how run-down the condo is...the carpets are stained and FILTHY, paint peeling off of doors and trim, surface of bathtub bubbling. This condo is desperately in need of a refresh!

Nice place,but...

Great view, upkeep of facility was great. Difficult to work the lock. It would work sometimes but not others. Carpet is in need of cleaning.

1-304 Kamoale Sands

While the view was excellent, the place is a bit tired looking but tidy. Carpets and bathrooms needed a good cleaning. Kitchen was excellent and the two bathrooms were a great surprise and worked well for 4 people. Limited closet space with mirrored doors that did not slide properly. Beach chairs could be updated. Kamoale Sands is well located, nicely landscaped and the nearby beach was one of the best we found.

Very well cared for condo in popular area of Kihei (right across street from Kameole III).

Well located and well maintained condo. Had constant communication with owner / manager to ensure all was well. Peek view of ocean. Only down side is true with all condos we have stayed at - tourists who keep late hours, stumble into complex in wee hours, drunk and loud. Nothing you can do about that. Complex is also well maintained.

Super clean and well kept! Epic views!

Originally we had a different location for our stay but it was lacking in every department. That night I found this place on the HomeAway app and was able to book it right there and check in the next day. We were very surprised by how nice it was and check in was a breeze. We just got a text with the location and door code and were set. The venue landscaping is very well kept, almost too much because they were always doing something. The area is clean and quiet and very close to shopping, restaurants, and of course, across the street from the beach. I would definitely recommend this place and will stay here again. Thank you.
