The Space:

Villa 2 at Villas By The Cove is a spacious, garden-view one-bedroom villa suite located just steps from two of South Maui’s most popular white-sand beaches. Newly remodeled and thoughtfully designed, this single-story, 600 sq. ft. villa offers a peaceful retreat with ocean views, privacy, and comfort, nestled within a lush tropical garden filled with mango and palm trees.



Originally built in the 1950s as a classic beach bungalow, Villa 2 captures the charm of old Hawaiʻi with a modern twist. The villa comfortably accommodates up to four guests, featuring a king bed that can be converted into two twin beds upon request, along with a full-size sofa bed in the living room suitable for one adult or two small children. Thoughtfully designed like a second home, Villa 2 comes stocked with essentials and travel extras: beach towels, iron and ironing board, tupperware, wine glasses, dishwasher pods, clothes drying rack, and more. Basic necessities—linens, bath towels, kitchen rags, travel-size toiletries, and pantry staples like salt, pepper, and olive oil—are also included.



Enjoy a bright and airy living space complete with air conditioning, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a fully equipped kitchen for relaxed island living. Additional amenities include a full bathroom with a walk-in shower, a private covered lanai ideal for unwinding outdoors, and gated parking for added convenience.



Guest Access:

Guests have exclusive use of Villa 2, including the private bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living area, and covered lanai.

Guests can enjoy the shared swimming pool, two communal gas BBQ grills, and a complimentary washer and dryer are located on the property.

Two beach chairs, two boogie boards, a beach umbrella, and a cooler are provided for your sun-filled days at the beach.



The Neighborhood:

Villas by the Cove is located 25 feet from The Cove Beach Park where guests can mingle with locals, take surf lessons or body surf in The Cove's consistent small waves. Charley Young Beach, a long stretch of white sand ideal for beach walks and swimming, is another local favorite that's located at the end of the street, about a one minute walk from the property front gate.



Getting Around:

For the active and adventurous traveler, our prime location offers easy access to sun bathing, swimming, surfing, snorkeling, diving, stand up paddle boarding, kayaking and whale watching. Also a golfers' paradise with nearby world class golf clubs less than 10 minutes away in Wailea and Makena. Restaurants, shops, nightlife, cafes, farmer’s markets, and Kalama Park are within a 5-10 minute walk from Villas By The Cove.



Other Things to Note:

Guests have access to our complimentary private Concierge service for assistance with arranging group activities such as luaus, whale watching, and snorkel boat tours, private chefs/caterers, pre-arrival grocery delivery, in-residence spa services, and group transportation.
