Sugar Beach Resort #305

  • Beach Front Sugar Beach Resort. 3rd Floor, Ocean View Unit. Beautifully updated unit with sweeping ocean views. Enjoy all of the amenities in a clean, well-kept property. The entire complex sits ocean front, there are no roads to cross to get you onto the beach! 305 is mid floor resort living with views that go on forever. Unit is accessible via elevator or stairs.

    The carefully chosen furnishings and decor in this updated unit will allow you to melt into 'Maui Time'. Dine on your lanai while watching the 'green flash' that can occur when the sun sets into the ocean. There are many green sea turtles swimming in the surf in front of Sugar Beach Resort, and magnificent humpback whales as they return each winter to enjoy their calving grounds in the Maui waters.

    Enjoy walking the more than 5 Mile continuous beach every morning or evening. There are many pieces of lawn and garden furniture spread throughout the resort grounds and pool area. The grounds are very well kept and the pool is heated and kept between 80 - 85 degrees (one of the warmest and only heated pools in Kihei). 305 is part of Sugar Beach Resort which won Management of the year for 2011.

    The Unit is very well equipped, it has all of the linens and towels that you will need. There are two cable TV's, one flat screen in the bedroom and a another flat screen in the living room, both have DVD players for movies. A stereo system with CD is provided, high speed broadband internet is available in the unit as well. There is a hair dryer, an iron and ironing board as well as a washer and dryer. The kitchen is completely stocked with pots, pans, dishes, silverware, toaster, microwave, etc. Food is available nearby at: Costco in Kahului, while Kihei offers a Safeway, Food Land, Star Market, and a daily Farmer’s market.

    We welcome you to our unit and hope you take advantage of our amazing location, please look at all of our photos, you can clearly see what the unit looks like and the excellent view!!!

    Also, if you are vacationing with another party and would like to rent another unit please ask us! We currently own 3condos in this resort. Other property is a ground floor unit #108. It is property #242977 on VRBO, and Penthouse 1 property #461914 on VRBO.

We have stayed in different units of sugar beach resort over the years and this rates as one of the nicest. Great view, excellent amenities, covered parking, and walk out access to the pool and the beach. Perfect for a week away!

Lovely location and home

Wow, this home was super comfortable. The views from the lanai were stunning! I saw several whales spouting in the distance. Thanks to the host for such a lovely place to stay

Amazing Condo!

My family had a wonderful time! The condo was clean and exactly what we needed. It's in a great location, has plenty of free parking, and a great pool and beach access. Kristi, the owner, is fabulous to work with and very helpful! We will absolutely stay again next time we visit Maui!

Sugar Beach 305

Check-in process was super easy ! Resort manager and Host were very knowledgeable and helpful. Beautiful updated unit with a breathtaking ocean view. Close to amazing golf courses and restaurants. Also, can walk out from resort to beautiful long sandy beach AND the best shaved ice in MAui. A great choice to stay when visiting the beautiful island of Maui. We will definitely be back!

Nice condo!

The condo was very clean, had lots of kitchen stuff, and was nicely furnished with clean, newer furniture. Had 4 beach chairs and a cooler, but didn’t really have any other beach toys (snorkel gear, boogie boards, etc) like other units we’ve stayed in at Sugar Beach. Overall, very nice stay. We would definitely stay here again!

Convenient and Spacious

This unit was well stocked just like the description states. The unit is spacious and has all the comforts of home. Nice view of the beach. Close to restaurants. Only 75 minutes to Haleakala summit to view sunrise. Enjoyed our stay.

Location was great, steps from the beach. Loved the view from the lanai. Grateful for the insulated bag and ice packs. We used them every day. Extra nice that they provided laundry soap. Pool was clean and just the right temperature. Great location for enjoying the sunsets. just the right temperature.

Great Location just a little unclean

Great location with a great pool and hot tub! Loved that it was right on the beach and was easy to access. Check in process was smooth and easy. Inside the actual room was just okay. The bathroom looked like it hadn’t actually been really scrubbed in quite a while. Let’s just say there wasn’t a lack of mold in the shower.

Amazing trip

This condo was fantastic! King size bed, which was very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with any pot/pan/appliance/utensil you may need. Recliner in the living area. The grounds and pool were beautifully kept, and the access to the beach can't be beat. Gorgeous sunsets every night. Quick access to any area of the island. Onsite concierge to help you with excursions, as well as a sandwich shop/bar if you don't want to cook or go out. We had a great time!

Wonderful place in a GREAT location!!! Apartment was neat and clean, grounds are very clean, maintenance guys cleaning every early morning, even wiping the railing around the pool. Apartment has has everything you need, super well equipped kitchen (literally whatever I needed to prepere meals was there), 3 beach chairs, 2 beach umbrellas(we used one) a small cooler backpack and even flashlights which were super useful when we went to see the sunrise above the clouds. Each morning we started the day with a walk on the beach followed by breakfast on the balcony listening to the ocean waves. Will be recomending this place to my friends and hoping to be back one day. We enjoyed our stay here. Our unit was adequate and quite clean. We had the amenities we needed. Loved the location which was central to everything we wanted to see. I feel the exterior could use use some sprucing up. It's an older place and in need of painting. Hall by our room was drab. Pool area is nice but offers little shade. When we stayed the water was too rough all week for swimming. Management promptly helped with an issue we had.
