Beautiful oceanfront home with front row views. The best views on Maui with incredible sunsets from the Lanai (balcony). Upgraded unit with granite counter tops and glass back splash. This air-conditioned unit features a king bed in the bedroom, and a queen sleeper sofa and TV in the living room. The ocean waves create a symphony of sounds. This is one of those units you will want to visit over and over again. Book now and for the future. The resort is one of the finest on Maui. Want a quick night cocktail or dinner? The on-site boutique restaurant is a great place to relax after a day soaking up rays. On-site activity desk is ready to schedule your every desire while on your trip or to rent you a stand-up paddle board. Luaus are recommended to be booked prior to travel. Sugar beach is located on the longest beach in Maui. Morning strolls along the beach are common for many in the area. Sugar Beach resort is complete with a large swimming pool, hot tub, putting greens, barbeque, restaurant, activity desk, massage parlor, real estate office, and formal ware clothing store. Nearby the Maui Ocean center and all that Maalaea has to offer is just a 4-mile drive. This Kihei location is also close to all Kihei, Wailea and Makena have to offer. One of the few beachfront condos in South Maui. Less than 20 minutes to the airport.

The unit is well stocked with kitchen ware and appliances, we also provide:
- beach chairs, beach towels, beach umbrella, sorry no snorkeling gear,
- a toiletries starter kit sufficient for short stay,
- a starter kit of laundry soap, dish soap, dishwasher soap, and kitchen cleaning supplies,
- drip coffeemaker and some coffee to get the trip started
- linens, towels, etc.

We stayed here at the sugar beach resort condo we had an ocean front condo on the third floor. Nice little condo . Nice pool area, wasn’t that busy .Nice beach area . Great spot to enjoy the water I like that they had lots of lounge chairs by the pool and the front lawn.Check in was easy and people were very friendly .

Amazing views

We always enjoy staying at the Sugar Beach condos. Having an ocean view is the best. The condo had a very comfy bed and pullout couch. We would recommend the condo for a beautiful stay on Maui.

Unbeatable location with everything you’d want or need for a great vacation. The place was clean and well equipped, with fantastic views. We enjoyed the pool and long walks on the beach everyday. This is an ideal place to explore the island. Loved it!

Perfect condo

This was our first time staying in North Kehei, I will never stay anywhere else on the island, the condo has the perfect view, the staff at the resort were amazing, they have an activity center on site and the owner gave us some amazing recommendation on things to do that we have never thought of before. We rented some body boards from them and it was perfect! The beds were comfy and it was walking distance to an ABC store for last minute needs. We will defiantly be staying here again!

Perfect location

The location of this property was awesome. The only complaint would be we rarely had hot water and the room it’s self needed a little upgrading for comfort. All in all, we will be back!

Perfect for whale watching!

Great location. Loved walking the beach every day - right outside the front door! Watched whales from the balcony. Pool was nice, as was the grilling area. The little restaurant/bar on the property was very convenient. Location of the property was close to Kihei shops and restaurants. Condo was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Would recommend to friends and would definitely rent again!

Beautiful location

Everything was great, most all necessary items were present in the kitchen; could use a water or juice pitcher. Linens were clean, bed was comfy, we left a maintenance request at the front desk because the bathroom sink drained REALLY slowly. Fabulous ocean view with LOTs of humpbacks splashing across the horizon. Definitely would come back.

We had a great time, walking along the beach. My husband and I would go for a walk to the right or to the left for about half an hour to 45 minutes and then back. Location outstanding!

Property is somewhat dated and worn, but the location is absolutely great! Centrally located so easy to get to East or west Maui. Right on the beach and the sound of the waves is great sleeping background. Kitchen adequate. Furnishings could use replacement, including nasty carpet. Bathroom needs a major overhaul. But we didn’t come here to stay in the room! It definitely met our needs.

Beautiful view

Enjoyed our stay at Sugar Beach. However, the unit itself needs a little work. Carpet in the living room was heavily stained. The bedroom pillows were very hard and difficult to sleep on. As a family that owns VRBO units we felt there should have been more supplies for the guests such as toilet paper, Kleenex, more pods for the dishwasher and washing machine. We had to purchase salt and pepper shakers! We also provide our guests with spices, enough coffee for their stay, microwave popcorn, and basic condiments like ketchup and mustard. Also napkins! There were no cleaning supplies for us to wipe down the glass dining or coffee tables. There was a small sponge which I did use to wipe things up a bit. Regular beach towels would also have been nice instead of the micro fiber ones in the unit. Overall we did have a nice stay.

Beautiful Kihei Getaway

My spouse and I stayed at Sugar Beach for the 2nd year in a row. We enjoyed our vacation in Kihei, and thought the location at Sugar Beach was a great location. We stayed in a different condo last year. This year, we paid $100 more a night. We thought it would be nice to have a corner room with views from 2 sides. Unfortunately, it was NOT worth the additional price. When we arrived in the evening, we were unable to get into our condo. The wrong code had been sent to us. It was late, and we sat by the pool waiting to get the correct information. When we saw the place the first day in the day light, I was surprised how very dirty the place was. NOT clean at all. One of the most disappointing things about the condo, was I ended up having to see my doctor the day after I returned home, since I had bug bites all over my body. I always sat on the sofa, and my husband never sat on it. Every day I noticed I had small red dots on my legs, then arms, and every day I continued to have more. I did not spend any time on the beach in the sand, and only a couple hours a few days at the pool. My doctor and I came to the conclusion they were bug bites from the sofa, that later I had a bad reaction to. I HIGHLY recommend that the condo be bug bombed immediately. I love Kihei, Maui, and would go back again, but I will not stay at another condo listed by Vrbo. The one we stayed in last year was not through Vrbo. Last year, our room had an awesome welcome gift basket which was appreciated!
