My husband and I stayed a week and really enjoyed the condo. It’s just right across the street from the beach (beautiful sunsets) and so close to restaurants and shopping. The condo was clean and 2 bathrooms is perfect for us. We would definitely stay here again!

This was a nice condo in a good location. It wasn’t fancy, but certainly clean and sufficient. The kitchen could be a little better equipped, only 2 full size forks was a little sparse, the pans were in a little rough shape, but overall a good experience.

Condo was clean, quiet, updated and very well stocked. Bed was great. I was told it is scheduled for new paint after we leave. A fresh coat of paint will make it even better. Beach and some restaurants are in walking distance. I would definitely stay here again.

Overall our stay was good. This is a great location just a few minutes walking to the beach and to many local shops and restaurants. However we did find a few issues with the condo itself that needed improvement. We communicated these concerns to the property manager who was not very helpful.

Wonderful beach Kam II across the street and the turtles were swimming in knee deep water along the beach every day. I stay in Maui every year and this condo is very well equipped. I do miss sitting outside with an ocean view. This view is obstructed by buildings. Very secure property walking distance to coffee and restaurants and the beach. Another awesome vacation! I found the place to be nicer than the photos would make it seem. Spacious and clean with a comfortable king bed in the bedroom. The large doors open to the lanai which is more than adequate for breakfast while taking in ocean views. The Maui Banyan complex is nice and well maintained. Kids liked the pool (there are two identical pool areas) and hot tubs. You are right across from a fantastic beach. Walk a little south and you are at some good snorkelling spots with turtles, fish, and colourful reefs. Unit is close to the elevator/stairs, two flights down to the office and pool. Would stay again.

Very clean in great location. The pull out sleeper it’s probably in need of replacing and a toilet valve was leaking a little bit. That is not a complaint that is just an observation. Overall well equipped. Paperwork sent out needs to be updated with new WiFi. Could use some painting and spiffing up. Couldn’t open the safe so it was useless but overall a good place to stay.

Condo was kept in good condition. Ample bedding and great location for walking to restaurants and the beach. Parking and check-in process were straightforward. Friend with allergies could not stop sniffling in this unit (other rooms in Maui Banyan building were OK). Master bedroom A/C unit was not cooling the room and could only circulate air around. Secondary bathroom ventilation had seen better days as well. No other complaints for the price of the rental.

1st time in Maui and at the Banyan, it did not disappoint!! The location of this property/condo is fantastic...beaches right across the street. We drove the Hana hwy, watched surfing on the way, went to Twinsfalls waterfall (little disappointed thought it would be more WOW than it was) enjoyed lunch on the bay in Hana, cool black sand. Snorkled in Honalula Bay saw amazing beautiful fish and a Barracuda (scared me out of the water haha). Black rock great snorkeling too. kayaked between Kamaole 1 Beach and Maluaka Beach saw the whales and hear them...we do have a whale of a story☆☆☆☆☆:] frequented a few delicious local hang outs...places to try Loekos Kitchen, Maui brew company, Paia fish company and Fred's close to Banyan. The condo was well stocked with everything we needed to enjoy the beach, boogie boards, snorkels and fins and beach chairs. Everything I needed was there to cook meals and the grills downstairs are always clean and ready to use. Bed and couch were comfortable. The little things you don’t think about until you need them were supplied like, detergent for washing clothes, extra trash bags and plenty of Kleenex and toilet paper. We had one small issue with figuring out the tv when we arrived, no big deal. I emailed Dan, the owner, and in minutes he was calling the condo to help me figure it out. Customer service like that is almost unheard of! We would definitely stay here again. However, It can get a little noisy with delivery trucks and people loading and unloading. Only one negative worth mentioning, the tub/shower in the bedroom drained so so slowly that we only showered in the other bathroom. Thanks Dan, your place is lovely and you are a great host.

Our overall stay was good; however, we had some problems with checking in late at night and our designated parking stall was taken and there were no “free” stalls left. So we ended up having to park down the road and around the corner. Front staff were “unsure” what to do with the vehicle the next morning when we talked to them. I ended up having to contact the condo owner. Eventually, it was moved. There was no cooler in the room so we ended up buying a small one and leaving it there. Also had to ask for more toilet paper a week before the end of our stay and we’re denied so ended up having to buy more rolls than what we needed. They were adamant they left 2 extra rolls in each bathroom but there was only 1 extra in one of the bathrooms. We stayed for 3 weeks. Kinda disappointed that we couldn’t get an extra roll of cheap toilet paper. The room was spacious but if you are looking to sit out on the lanai comfortably, it is very long but very narrow in width and was hard to get around the furniture. Air conditioners worked great and so did the ceiling fans in both the bedroom and living room. All appliances were in good working order.

My spouse and I headed to Maui for some R&R and booked this unit for its close proximity to the beaches of south Maui. We were pleasantly surprised by the features and amenities provided by the owner and the condition of the unit from the moment we arrived. From the two full baths, master bedroom, kitchen and full stock of dishes, pots, pans, glasses, etc. to books on local attractions and island history, the unit provided a lot of small touches of home and gave us a home feel. The only items of note were that the TV was a bit small for the room (but, we were not in Maui to watch TV! so not so much of an issue) and that there was some loose tile near the entryway. We called and spoke with the maintenance person in charge of the unit and he said it would be taken care of when we checked out. Also, the maintenance man/care taker was most excellent. My spouse had left a couple of clothing items in the unit accidently but we were fortunate to identify this before leaving the island. When we called, he said that the cleaning crew had found the items and he had already received them (lost and found). We arranged to meet and get the clothing back before leaving the island, which was a huge convenience. Kudos to him and the cleaning crew for that! Thanks See you next time we are in Maui. Basic accommodations in a great location. Walk to the beach with provided beach chairs. Walking to lots of shops and restaurants. Great sunsets! Bathrooms could have been a little bit cleaner, there were cleaning products under the sinks. Very little provided for starters so bring your own coffee to get yourself started.Parking place very close to unit but a very tight fit if your rental is an suv. Overall good place for the price.
