Beautiful property

We have stayed at this lovely condo several times. It has everything needed for a great vacation, has a beautiful view and is in a perfect location on the island. We love it and hope to return often!

Peaceful Paridise

Condo unit was very clean and comfortable and well stocked with all the necessary kitchen appliances and serveware to make for a relaxing stay in Maui. View from balcony was beautiful situated for both sunrise and sunset. Very much enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful location for walks on the beach

We had a wonderful stay here. Very clean and nice updates to the condo. Very quiet and easy access to the beach out front went for a walk or run every morning. Close to many other beaches and good food and coffee locations in Kihei. Would definitely look to stay here again.

Cannot beat the view

The condo was very lovely, nice and clean and stocked with everything you could need! We spent every morning on the lanai, enjoying kona coffee and watching the waves crash onto the beach. You'll want a rental car if you plan to stay here, but it's worth it

We Love Sugar Beach

The unit was clean, comfortable and nicely located on Sugar Beach. It was well appointed and nicely stocked with extras in the kitchen. The resort as a whole was very clean and well taken care of. The pool area was nice with plenty of chairs. We love walking Sugar Beach and the whale sightings were great!

Perfect place to unwind

Outstanding! The views were spectacular and we loved hearing the waves crashing on the beach. The condo was clean, well-equipped and perfect for two people. The beach and pool were steps away from the building. Everything was nice and quiet — practically had the beach to ourselves. We hope to return!

Excellent Condo

Wonderful place to stay, views are amazing. Location was perfect just north of busy Kihei resort area. Easy access to town. Condo was well stocked with supplies for the beach. We used the towel chairs and cooler. Quiet sandy beach with view of west peninsula, molokini crater, kaho’olawe and south Maui peninsula. I would stay here again and recommend to anyone.

Sugar Beach

We loved our stay at Sugar Beach! We found the listing to be completely accurate and so beautiful. We saw the staff daily caring for the property and ensuring that everywhere was clean. If you plan on exploring this is the perfect location for whichever side of the island you want to go to. We couldn't have asked for a better stay!

The place was wonderful. The view was amazing, the area was quiet and it was nice to have that beach out front and the unit was clean. Hosts provided beach gear which was very courteous. I also found that this rental was very stocked with supplies. The location is great for getting around the entire island. Would definitely recommend.

So comfortable and well-appointed. Bamboo sheets :). We could not turn on the main TV, but did not request help…the “show” was miraculous outside. Paradise with empty beaches. Thank you for sharing this lovely condo!

A week in paradise

The pictures for this listing were spot on to what we encountered. There were no surprises except the view from the balcony was even better than we would have dreamed of. The location was great. Just a short distance away from all the shops and restaurants but far enough that the beach was almost our own private paradise. We wanted to come back next spring break but it is booked already for our week. :( We will be back!

Wonderful Stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Kihei Sugar Beach Resort condo! So much better than renting a hotel room. The view of the ocean from this unit was wonderful. We ate many meals out on the balcony. We took advantage of the kitchen and the grill. We appreciated having the beach chairs and cooler--used several times. Access to the beach was so convenient. Walked the beach daily. Accommodations were updated and very clean. Owners communicated well and answered any questions we had in a timely manner. We hope to be back in the future. Would definitely recommend this condo to others!

Great place in an ideal location

The apartment looks out onto Sugar Beach just as shown in the photos. It is clean and well-kept, and supplied with everything necessary for a nice long stay. There were lots of lovely touches when we arrived: High-end toiletries, plenty of bath and beach towels, two beach chairs, and a cooler. The lighted magnifying mirror was a nice touch on the bathroom vanity. We had breakfast every morning on the lanai looking out at the beach and ocean. There is a shop on the resort where snorkel gear and other items can be rented for a reasonable rate, and they recommended and booked a great place for us to get surfing lessons. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Maui!

Fabulous Location and Views

This upgraded condo was ideal for my wife's and my Maui vacation. We come to Maui every year for the past several years and have stayed in many VRBOs. I would rate this right at the top! Beautiful unit, right on the water with a nice sandy beach. New kitchen appliances and the whole condo has been updated. It is also very well stocked and the price was excellent compared to others expecially considering what a nice condo. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your wonderful property...we will be back and look for dates of availability.

Perfect for Us

We've stay at SBR before. We like the location and the vibe in this part 9f the island. Central to pretty much everything. Unit is perfect with everything you'll need! Not specifically related to this unit, but the pool was a nightmare with screaming kids, running and jumping in the pool splashing people (after they read the signs that say not to jump or dive) and we chose to leave the pool a few times because of it. The management simply said "the parents let the kids do it" and would not address it. Too bad people aren't naturally compelled to be courteous.

Beautiful Ocean Front Condo

When we learned that our accommodations in Lahaina had been lost in the fire, we switched gears and found Randy and Judy's condo on Sugar Beach in Kihei. Judy was very helpful in communicating what was happening on the south side (Kihei). The condo is in a well maintained complex with easy access, covered parking, and a short walk to the elevator. The complex has a large pool and jacuzzi with barbecues close to the beach. The unit has a beautiful view visible upon opening the door. The unit is immaculately clean and well organized. Kitchenware is high quality; dishes, glasses, cutlery, pots & pans, blender etc. The complex is conveniently located to the airport, shops, grocery stores and restaurants. Communication with Randy & Judy was seamless.

Spectacular View and Vacation Property

My oh my what a view! The ocean was only steps away and the sandy beach was breath taking. The balcony afforded a spectacular view of the ocean. From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave you have everything you need for a great stay. The unit was very clean. The owners provided: 2 beach chairs, beach towels, umbrella, and a cooler. The kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils and equipment needed to cook a great meal. Washer and dryer in the unit. Basically, all you need to do is stock your refrigerator, (laundry soap, dishwasher soap) and consumables and your set! The Snorkel Store is located right at the property. So renting gear was a breeze. The grounds are immaculate. The access to the pool and hot tub is a quick elevator ride down from the unit. We liked how convenient and central this unit was located. Stay in Kihei

We enjoyed our 3 week stay in Kihei. One could not be closer to the ocean, in fact, sometimes the sound of the waves could be startling. But the view is amazing and the whale watching unbelievable. The location was not in the high tourist traffic area, but the down side is one has to drive a bit to get to restaurants. On the other hand, easy to get to most every location on the island by car. Nearby is a national wildlife pond which we learned contributes to midges late winter, early spring. They don’t bite, but a couple times we had more than a few on the lanai. Inside the unit the bathroom is very tight, but a makeup mirror allowed me to move to a different space to get ready while my spouse used the sink area. Comfortable furniture, plenty of storage space, nice dishes, pots and pans, and for some reason I loved the microwave. It was so shiny and quiet.
