Won Place is all it claims to be: an excellent basic hotel. It offers clean rooms with air-conditioning, TV, ensuite bathroom and a supply of bottled water everyday with a fridge in the room to chill it. There is also adequate car parking and free coffee in the mornings. It has no restaurant but there are plenty within reasonable walking distance with a variety of prices and qualities. Its location down a narrow sidestreet may seem a little off-putting but I have not found this a problem. It is reasonably close to the city centre with all the facilities that has to offer.

The hotel room was spacious, and had a comfortable king size bed and a balcony. There were a wide selection of TV channels in English, including sports, business, and news channels. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful when scheduling a taxi for me early in the morning.
