"This was a great place to stay after doing the Golden Circle and before we began the South Coast/Ring Road. It is in the farming area of Iceland, which has a simple beauty and glad we experienced this in contrast to the stunning parts of the country. Accommodations were basic and the room was a bit cramped for 3 of us. It was very clean and we had the free breakfast which was a great perk. We enjoyed the hot tub and the rustic little outdoor sauna after a long day on the road. It was easy to find, just off the main road. This place is not as remote as I had thought it would be although feels quiet and remote. Selfoss is only about 10 min away and is a town with amenities, grocery store, gas stations, clothing stores, etc. We had a great dinner at the Food Hall. The host at the farm was very helpful and we got to feed the sheep - my 10yo & I loved that!"

"The Northern Lights cabin is a wonderful place to stay. Sitting in the lovely hot tub, looking through the glass walls around the deck - what an incredible view of the sky and the Icelandic countryside! There are great views from big windows inside the house as well. So much to take in. It's all very peaceful. The main house and guest cottage were both very clean and well stocked. We cooked a couple of dinners at home. The nearest restaurant was about 10 minutes away. You definitely need a vehicle and the roads are made of large pieces of gravel inside this very rural neighborhood. We rented a 4x4 vehicle but it wasn't necessary during the early October timeframe. It was nice to have 1.5 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms between the main cabin and guest cottage.Selfoss is the nearest town - about 20 minutes away. It has everything you could need there. Many shops and restaurants. Multiple large grocery stores. Also near the cabin is the Fridheimer tomato restaurant. Absolutely delicious! We ate there twice because it was so good.The Kerid Crater is very close - maybe a 10 minute drive. We were bummed to miss the Northern lights while we were there. But we really appreciated the quiet living and beautiful stars. Sigurjon was a helpful and responsive host. We had no problems while we were there but he was available to answer any questions. We highly recommend this amazing cabin."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Bubble. It was easy to check in and there was such a cute well lit path marked to our very private bubble clearing the trees. Though the sky didn't cooperate with the Northern Lights the private wooded scenery around the Bubble (even in the rain) made for a lovely view. Staying in the Bubble was a really fun and very cozy, comfortable experience."
