"This was our second stay at the Hotel Mountain Paradise, and it was just as good as we remembered! The two-bedroom villa is spacious and a great way to relax for a family of 5. We loved the plunge pool and views and enjoyed breakfast. Great location, close to town and a lot of the activities we wanted to try. It was much busier the second time round and while the main pool is lovely and warm, more chairs are needed. When we tried to visit all chairs were occupied and we had to leave our towel and belongings on a nearby rock. "

"Far from the noise, right by the Arenal volcano, the view is WOW! loved my stay here They also have a farm with cows, chickens and horses. I got the chance to watch them milk the cows and try to do it myself. The food is so fresh and delicious authentic costa rican! They have american breakfast option too. The rooms were clean, no bugs issue. "

"Everything about this place is top-notch. I was floored by the level of attentiveness and service provided by literally everyone we encountered...from the front desk staff, the cart drivers, the spa, the restaurants.... everything. The villas are gorgeous, spacious, and luxurious without seeming fussy. The hot springs pools outside each room are an absolute dream, and having our breakfast delivered and set up outside each morning was heaven. I could not recommend this place more. Go...you'll never want to leave."

"Excellent resort situated in an incredible rainforest setting. We are a family of four (kids aged 6 and 8) and everything about our stay at The Lost Iguana was better than expected. The resort is close to all the key attractions in the area, yet tucked away in a tranquil rainforest. We saw countless birds and heard howler monkeys right off our balcony. At night, you can see various types of frogs including red eye tree frogs around the property. This is a a real gem of a resort and one that my family and I cannot wait to come back k to visit. "
