"Breakfast was not great, to say the least. Powdered eggs in premade omelets with American cheese were unappealing. Real scrambled eggs are more appetizing and nutritious. Also the option of instant oatmeal or grits vs a crock of fresh oatmeal left us cold. And the orange juice dispenser was out of order!"

"Beautiful Inn with courtyards, gardens and wonderfully restored guest houses and Inn. I will return here whenever I am in Gainesville. I loved the staff, owner, accommodations and my little cottage with rocking chairs to enjoy reading on the porch."

"Asked to clean the room the day before and day of to three different people including the general manager. Room wasn’t cleaned. Tease you about Otis Spunkenmeyer cookies but never gave it. Get rid of the oven. Breakfast items run out and they don’t replenish."

"Greg is an excellent and attentive host. He greeted us when we arrived and gave us the grand tour of the apartment and the grounds. We met the koi and the turkeys and enjoyed fresh oranges from the orchard. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The bikes were a great bonus - we rode down to the lake and hung out with the alligators and the birds. If we're ever in the Gainesville area again, we'll definitely stay here."
