"This was by far the most unique, amazing hotel we stayed at on the island of Crete. Upon arrival we were given fresh-squeezed lemonade made from their own lemon trees. The staff was so friendly! The building is over 500 years old, and nothing like I've ever seen before. The suite we got was huge, (living room, full kitchen, dining room, and bathroom downstairs and 2 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs). We arrived past midnight on our first day because of a delayed flight and the staff, especially Dino, was so welcoming and helpful, which was a great start to our stay. "Staff extremely accommodating for my daughters very restricted diet, sourced products not usually found in the island. Second stay here, staff were excellent, all very friendly and polite. Buffett was extensive and changed every night. Rooms were great all sea facing. I preferred room on a higher floor. Would be nice to have an atm in site but there is one across the road at their sister hotel where the beach is. Hope to be back again!"
