Fantastic setting!

Gound level condo overlooking the golf course , with the ocean in view. Clean and well kept area with all of the amenities within a short distance, but the real plus was the owners ability to help you find the attractions that you wanted to make your vacation fit your needs. He was fantastic!

Spacious and peaceful. Great for families!

We had an amazing stay at Steven's condo. It was spacious, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our family of four. The condo has multiple pools which the kids enjoyed and easy access to beaches. Steven was attentive to any of our needs and kind enough to give us lots of tips on places to eat and beaches to check out. We would definitely come back!

Amazing Maui Trip

A warm welcome!

We recently stayed for ten days in this lovely condo with a beautiful view of the 10th and 18th bay course at Kapalua. The condo was very clean and came with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The only downside for us was the three flights of stairs down to reach it ,but once in you are on one level. Would recommend for a lovely stay.

Relaxing Villa

Our experience at the Kapalua Golf Villas was incredible- Steve was responsive and provided with valuable information regarding places to eat/visit. The shuttle service was great! It was nice going to near beaches and not worrying about finding a parking spot- If you are looking for a beautiful place to relax, with beautiful clean pools and quite nights to sleep this is the place! An excellent place to stay in Maui

We thoroughly enjoyed our September vacation in Maui, primarily because this condo is ideally situated for peace and quiet, access to the beaches at Napili and Kapalua, as well as D.T. Fleming Park, superb views of the Kapalua Bay golf course and the ocean and Molokai in the distance, shopping at Napili Plaza and the General Store and dining nearby at Sansei. The condo itself is very spacious, clean and quite well equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable vacation (including beach chairs, beach umbrella and towels). Steven Shapiro is very helpful and accomodating.

Great little condo on a golf course

My daughter and her boyfriend and I stayed here for a week during the Xterra Triathlon race that my daughter was participating in. Consequently, we did not spend much time at the condo and did not use either the golf course or the pools. The location was excellent for our purposes, walking distance to the Ritz Carlton. We also walked down to the beach and to a near-by trail along the shore. The owner provided us with excellent dining suggestions and was very responsive to questions.

A Gem In Paradise!

It was our 4th time staying at the Kapalua Resort, and the condo was simply amazing! Clean and with all the amenities you can possibly want for a vacation in paradise: Spacious living and bedroom(s), spa-like bathrooms, view on the Bay Golf course and the water from the lanai, walking distance to Kapalua Bay Beach, and a stone-throw away from one of the resort's multiple pools. Yet far enough from everything to enjoy peace and quiet as well. If you are looking for an excellent price/value/experience opportunity during your vacation on Maui - you will definitely check all the boxes by renting this condo. Mahalo for a wonderful time - we will be back!

wonderful stay

Our family of four adults spent 11 fantastic days in Maui. Steve's villa was spacious and well stocked with kitchen items, beach and bath towels, chairs and umbrella. The location is very quite, away from the crowds and there are several beaches nearby. The sunsets we watched from the lanai were beautiful and at night, we would stargaze from the lounge chairs. The stars were amazing and we saw several shooting stars! Steve provided many recommendations for local restaurants and was quick to respond to any questions. He is a wonderful host and went out of his way to ensure that we had a great time. Mahalo Steve, we would love to return someday soon!

perfect condo for family

The condo was perfect for our family. It was very clean and updated with comfy beds. Includex basic kitchen essentials and beach gear. Close to Kaplua and Napili, both were great for snorkeling. (fish in Kapalua, turtles in Napili). It is a very quiet resort, away but not far (15 to 20 min) from the more touristy Kaanapali and Lahaina. There is even a general store nearby that sells some groceries, breakfast/lunch, and souvenirs. We were here during Easter and attended Sacred Heart, which had a beautiful choir. Steven was a pleasure to work with. He ensured that we had no issues during our stay and gave us very helpful tips and recommendations. We had a memorable stay and would not hesitate to recommend this condo to friends and family.

Very nice area and nice accommodations

We just got back from staying a week in Kapalua, Maui. We had a great time! The area is very nice. The landscaping around the area was very nice and every plant appeared as though it has been carefully cared for. It was impressive to say the least. The Cook Pines in the area are very impressive and provide a different feel than I have experienced in Hawai'i before. The Napili and Kapalua Beaches are about a 10-15 minute walk and are very nice. There is also Oneloa Bay near which also has a very nice beach and hardly any people at all (parking is limited though). It is about a 15 minute walk. Also, DT Fleming Beach Park is only about a 5 minute drive away and is also a nice large beach. You will find a lot more locals here as well. Overall, we had a great time staying here and the accommodations were very nice! We especially enjoyed eating breakfast out on the lanai listening to all of the birds in the morning and enjoying the beautiful view of the golf course and you can even see a good size chunk of the ocean!

Enjoyed our stay at Kapalua Golf Villas!

This was our first stay at the Kapalua Golf Villas. Although the weather didn't cooperate we all enjoyed the stay. The unit is spacious and the lanais provide additional living area. We spent plenty of time at the beach and really appreciated that there were 4 beach chairs, beach towels and boogie boards. The kitchen was nicely equipped. Plenty of dishes and glassware. Also, the owners provided garbage liners, dish soap, dishwashing detergent and a starter supply of paper products. Nice to not have to purchase those items on vacation! Our group consisted of 2 adult couples. The unit was very comfortable as each bedroom has it's own bathroom. The common areas were nice for group activities and we enjoyed cooking the majority of our meals at the unit and barbecuing at the pool barbecues. This was a very restful vacation. The property is very quiet and well-maintained. Great place to walk and very close to the best beach in Maui!

Wonderful place to stay on Maui

Our family thoroughly enjoyed staying at this villa while in Maui. Kapalua is just far enough away from the overly tourist areas, but yet close enough to get to anything you want easily. The villa was spacious, clean, and perfect for my wife, me, and our two daughters. Our daughters had their own bedroom suite with separate twin beds. Beautiful kitchen and bathrooms, nice living area, very spacious lanai / patio, and updated flat screen TVs. There was a washer / dryer as well as beach chairs, umbrella, toys, and several boogie boards. We had fantastic sunset views of the golf course, Molokai and the ocean peeking through the trees. We loved going for evening walks down to Kapalua Beach and the Montage resort. Our girls loved the nearby pool which was nicely heated, immaculate, and had convenient BBQ grills. There is a great general store right there in the resort area (The Honolua Store), and we enjoyed two incredible meals at the resort (Merriman's and Sansei). The condo owner, Steven, was easy to work with and always responded quickly to any questions that we had before and during our stay. We would definitely come back here again!

Enjoyable but……

This is a very nice property set on the ground level of 4th hole of the Bay Course (beware errant golf balls). However a few things you need to be aware of: Host requires you to sign contract ( have never done this for any other property in Kapalua) and then failed to return to us with his signature as promised. While being aware of ages of guests (76-82)he failed to tell us we would need to carry luggage and groceries down 3 flights (25 steps) which proved exceptionally challenging for us. Although the shower is in the bathtub in second bedroom there is no grab rail which we found extremely worrying and dangerous. The host was contacted but failed to assist. The safe was also inoperable, instruction manual not up to date (eg air con),both bedroom sheets were threadbare/holes in several places and initially queen size sheets (no fitted sheet)had been placed on one of the king beds,( which was quickly rectified by cleaner when contacted). This is a nice condo in a great location but it obviously needs some attention and when rectified I would definitely recommend.

Golf villa

Perfect condo for our family of four. Great location, on the fourth hole of the Kapalua bay course with spectacular views of the ocean in the distance. Well equipped with chairs, boogie boards and a cooler for the beach. Excellent communication with the owner prior to arrival and while on site. Steve reached out several times to make sure everything was in order in the unit. We will be back. Peter

Great for a family

We stayed at Steven’s villa for 10 days and it was perfect for our family. We travelled with myself, my husband, our 1 and 4 year old boys and my parents. We were able to rent a crib for our 1 year old and he stayed in the master with us and then our 4 year old stayed on a (really comfortable) blow up bed in the other room with my parents. We never felt cramped or on top of each other during the stay. Steven’s unit is well stocked with all the kitchen items you’d need, beach and bath towels and beach toys. There are also 4 coffee makers, a coffee grinder and 2 tea pots :) He also has snapware which makes taking food to the beach really easy and convenient. The complex was great and very quiet. We took advantage of 2 of the 4 pools and they were great. The pool up from Steven’s unit was perfect for watching the sunset and the larger pool in the middle had the sun last the longest so we could stay in the pool a bit longer. The shuttle was convenient and we used it to go to Kapalua and Napili Bay and Sea House for dinner (never had to wait more than 5 minutes). If you plan on going out to eat, make reservations ASAP. The restaurants nearby were booked and we weren’t able to try them. Steven is a wealth of knowledge on the good places to eat so definitely pick his brain.

Perfect Accomodations, Perfect Location, Perfect Host

Cannot rave enough about our stay--and we had high expectations. Kapalua allows immediate proximity to multiple beaches for the kiddos and snorkeling. I'll admit I'm not a golf person. Not even a little bit. But the course made for a pristine and quiet setting. I would go back again in a heartbeat. Steven was immediately responsive and flexible to any ask, notably when we had some complications around our departure and sneaking in a nap for our girl before a long red eye fight. Stay here. Spacious. Well maintained. Beautiful back patio. Serene location. And bonus for the easy shuttle access to the nearby vicinity.
