"My husband and I stayed here for 6 nights and had a wonderful time. The house is on a peaceful beach (we didn't see any other tourists while we were here) with some local temples about 10 minutes' walk. The house is clean and well-equipped and the air conditioning was able to keep up with the heat! The large grounds were exactly as pictured, including the huge beautiful pool. We were able to have massages in our little massage pavilion right on the beach! Keep in mind that it does take 20+...

"Our stay at the Boathouse in Melaya was amazing! The house is exactly as pictured and beautiful! I can’t rave enough about the staff. They are absolutely amazing and so accommodating. The only complaint I have is how remote it is. If total peace and quiet is what you’re looking for then you will be thrilled. We would definitely stay there again if we go to Bali. It’s nice to Spend half your time in Kuta and then end your vacation in the seclusion of the Boathouse."

"Four of us stayed here with a fairly last minute booking for 3 nights in October. The house is amazing! Spacious, wonderfully decorated, great infinity pool and views of the mountains and ocean. "What can I say this is my second stay here and each time the place is amazing from the villa to pool to the surrounding area just amazing and well thought out. The Euro Restaurant was ok but the Indonesian Restauant overlooking sunset was out of this world. Service was excellent. Reception was interesting asking for same docs again even though were repeat guests and have already given our documents weird. Welcome drink needs an upgrade lol"

"This is a gorgeous boutique hotel -- it felt like an oasis to us. The rooms are very spacious and many of them are their own little bungalow. The hotel was clearly set up by someone who had passion for this; the detailing and decorations are very tasteful. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. When the main ferry service had terrible delays due to an incident, the manager, Mey, chartered a boat for us and arranged for a car in Bali to get us to our destination. The food at the hotel was very good too. Well worth a stay if you are in the area!"
