"Es war auch nicht genug Besteck/Teller/Tassen für alle da. Kaum sachen zum Kochen oder sauber machen. Dabei wäre gerade ein anständiger wischmopp da echt nötig gewesen. Unser Haus war leider auch bei bezug nicht sauber und das Bad schon richtig verkalkt/verschimmelt. Würde wir auf keinen fall nochmal hin fahren. "Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und komplett eingerichtet. Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich und spricht sehr gut deutsch, somit war die Kommunikation problemlos möglich. Seine Tochter lebt auf der Anlage und hat den Check-in übernommen, das war in ca. 5 Minuten erledigt. Die Wohnung befindet sich in einem Bungalow auf der großzügigen Anlage. Einiges Manko ist, dass man auf ein Auto/Fahrzeug angewiesen ist, um z.B in die Stadt oder an den Strand zu kommen. Zu Fuß ist es zu weit und der Weg führt...

"The staff was completely uncaring and unhelpful. There was no ventilation in our room. None at all. When I asked at the front desk I was told someone would take a look at it. When I asked again an hour later they said they called to have it inspected. When we got back from. dinner no one had been there. When I checked again with the front desk (in person since the phone did not work) I was told it was inspected and nothing was wrong. I was told that all of the rooms were the same temperature and it was suggested i sleep with the windows open. There was an obvious error code on the thermostat and all of the other rooms had their patio doors closed so I assumed their climate was working. So I was lied to twice by the front desk. And they were very smug and rude about everything. Even at check in. We have been all over the world in many hotels and have never been treated so poorly. Yes. The pool and location is great but does not even begin to compensate for the staff behavior at the price. This was our sixth visit to Portoroz and I will never stay at this hotel again. There are much better choices."

"This is a beautiful property with a with a long history that’s worth looking into. The staff was fantastic. The rooms were beautiful however buyer beware during the time that we were there they had no air-conditioning and it was extremely uncomfortable and hot overnight. During the early evening, the town lost power had which caused alarms in town to go off all night long, which made it impossible to keep the windows open. I called the front desk and they told me that in April they don’t turn the AC on other than that. The food was fantastic. The breakfast buffet was excellent."

"Amazing hotel! There is still some work undergoing at the hotel and not all areas were opened. It has the best reception and amazing hospitality. The issues we had with the booking via Expedia were promptly resolved by the concierge manager Jasmina. The spa was out of this world with several different saunas. Highly recommended. The room was well equipped but I think the decor inside of it does not match the beautiful decor in the lobby. We opted for a half board option. The breakfast options were plentiful. Great juice bar. Dinner options were slightly more limited but that could be down to my personal preferences. The only downside I found was the parking. Plenty of parking spaces but they there but they were about 5 - 10 min walk away, partially on a gravel road. The hotel golf buggies were there but nobody bothered to offer a lift to the car park. We did a lot of walking whilst there and were tired at the end of the day. Plus I had to be careful not to ruin my shoes. It was a minor inconvenience but still something to consider. I would throughly recommend the hotel and I am already looking to book it again."
