Lots of issues reported via both text/phone, but management didn’t respond. Eventually promised follow-up > 24 hours later, that didn’t occur. Would still appreciate a discount for undisclosed major issues…
Not having any privacy in a bathroom (that four of the seven people were using) was not acceptable. The lack of doors/privacy should have been disclosed.
They came the next day to put a curtain where a door should have been - a bathroom with a clear shower door. Having to leave one of two keys for maintenance (with a party of 7 wanting to explore) was a bit of an inconvenience, as well as arriving to a broken toilet, and needing to provide access for that as well.
There was also a bug that very much resembled a cockroach (I sent them a photo) that was seen twice inside of the dishwasher. And the dishwasher compartment for soap does not close.
The furnishings on the outside patio are a little worn. Even just replacing the completely worn out cushions would be a huge upgrade.
There is a broken spindle on one of the railings, and we have a three year old… It made me very uneasy and is a huge safety concern. The railing (even where fully intact) isn't very sturdy.
Overall, we are certainly not at a five star level, as they attempted to solicit.
If there's anything Casago/owner can do to help address these issues after the fact, we would greatly appreciate it, as this was a bit of a splurge short stay, and it was shockingly lacking in several areas.
