We enjoyed the our mornings on the beach and even saw saw turtles and a seal, and found the location was perfect for our day trips and we drove to all points of the island. 「What can I say the room had a great view the instructions were easy to follow the reason there’s a $100 deposit for parking is because people kept leaving with the parking placards so they upped the deposit. You do get it back when you leave. I would definitely stay here again」

「We spent 4 nights in the Garden Hideaway and it was a great spot to stay and use as a home base to explore the North Shore. It was just 2 of us this time, but even with 4 in a family, it was a large amount of space to live in. Very comfortable and clean. Would definitely enjoy returning to this location.」

「The studio was clean, spacious & nice. However, the host advises "just steps from the ocean." Totally false! To get across to the ocean, you have to cross an extremely active highway. Furthermore, there are several homeless camps you also have to pass. To enter or exit the property, you have to get out of your vehicle and unlock the iron gates that are secured with a bicycle lock. 「This rental was just ok. It was very close to the beach but had absolutely no views. The rental was cheaply furnished. We didn't spend a lot of time there, really just slept there. A/C worked fine in the bedroom but the living area was warm. The shower was good with plenty of pressure and hot water. It had a washer and dryer which allowed us to wash clothes. It worked for us as a fairly inexpensive place to sleep and bathe just a very short walk (maybe 150 feet) from the beach.」
