Inside, you'll enjoy central air conditioning, a private washer and dryer, and complimentary high-speed internet to keep you cool and connected. Unmatched ocean views and front-row seats for whale season (Dec–Apr) await you—watch humpbacks breach and spout right from your lanai, spot sea turtles (honu) along the shoreline, and take in incredible sunsets with Molokai and Lanai on the horizon. (One of the reasons the owners chose Royal Kahana was for these unbeatable views.)

The spacious primary bedroom features a luxurious California king-size bed, private lanai access, and an ensuite bathroom complete with a walk-in tiled shower, pebble stone flooring, and a modern single-sink vanity. The open-concept living area provides a cozy space to unwind, with a queen-size sleeper sofa for additional guests and sliding glass doors leading to your private lanai—perfect for sipping morning coffee or enjoying the evening trade winds. A fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to prepare everything from quick breakfasts to full dinners. Dine indoors or al fresco on the lanai for a true island experience.

Royal Kahana is an oceanfront resort on the West coast of Maui between the Kaanapali and Kapalua neighborhoods. Royal Kahana has some of the best ocean views of Kahana Beach! Enjoy Maui's sunsets as well as having a rare opportunity to sneak a peek at the majestic Humpback Whales that visit in the winter. Royal Kahana is centrally located to many restaurants and shops. Just a short walk away, you can enjoy a variety of restaurant choices from Maui Brewing Company to take out Sushi at Miso Phat. Kahana is just a short drive to Lahaina town and Front Street, dining and entertainment at Whaler's Village in Ka'anapali, and championship golf courses in Kapalua. You are also welcome to all the amenities that Royal Kahana provides such as table tennis, shuffleboard, fitness center, heated pool, and gas grills on site.

* Please note Royal Kahana charges a parking fee of $18 per night plus applicable tax. This fee is collected at the front desk of the property between the hours of 8am-8pm. If you are arriving after 8pm, please register your vehicle at the night-watch desk and pay your parking fees the following morning. Please note that this fee is charged by the Royal Kahana Resort, which is not affiliated with My Perfect Stays.

Would have liked to check-in early. Had to contact the property management for the door key code - wasn't sent in advance. Later that evening ended up getting locked out and took over a half hour for property management to get it recoded for re-entry. So visit started out rough but enjoyable the rest of the time.
