This floor plan is the largest one bedroom available in Honua Kai and also has a semi-private lawn area. If you're traveling with your family or friends, this is the unit for you! You'll all be able to spread out and enjoy your time on Maui. The resort is situated on one the most famous and beautiful beaches of Maui, Ka'anapali Beach. Enjoy ground-floor access to impeccably groomed resort gardens & lawn off your private lanai. Absolutely amazing!

We’ve stayed in various condos in Honua Kai and this is our favorite! The location couldn’t be better - right near the pools and ocean; amazing snorkeling right in front of the resort! We always see honu here (make sure you respect their space & adore from a distance).The owner was quick to reply to all questions and the condo was spotless with everything you could need and more. We didn’t use them because we came over-equipped, but they had boogie boards, beach chairs, backpack cooler, umbrella and a waterproof volleyball too!I had to do a couple of Zoom meetings for work and had no trouble with the WiFi. Staff are so warm and welcoming as well. I can’t say enough good things about our experience - we all had the greatest time and can’t wait to return! Thank you Marcie & staff at Hawaiian Island Resorts

Great Spot!

Had a great time. Thank you to the host. Place was clean and well-positioned close to the BBQ area, pool snd beach. What an advantage being on the ground floor with the door outside. Would stay again for sure.

Marvelous

Rooms and grounds were immaculate, proximity to beach was excellent, and the kids really enjoyed the variety of pools. The snorkeling right by the grounds was great- variety of fish and lots of sea turtles (enjoyed more than the Molokini tour).

Honua Kai Stay

This place was amazing and exactly as advertised. The floor level unit with the patio and grass were definitely a plus. There was no noise from any neighbors and my kids (ages 12 and 15) loved having the grass to play/hang out on. Everything was easy, from check in to getting towels, to parking, we were easily able to navigate everything. When I contacted our host with questions, she immediately responded and was very helpful. We already knew we loved Honua Kai but this was the first time we booked the Kona tower (we booked through the hotel on our two previous stays). We will definitely book through VRBO again. This process was much easier and we were able to choose our unit. This unit also had some really great extras including a nice cooler backpack, Tommy Bahama beach chairs and beach umbrella, and two boogie boards. We would love to return on our next trip to Maui.

Wonderful, quiet and great location

This unit is in a great location on the ground floor. Quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of the resort. You even have a partial ocean view from the lanai. The unit was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Mahalo

Amazing Stay

The most wonderful and relaxing stay in beautiful Maui in the most perfect condo. We found everything to be exactly as advertised and in a perfect location on the ground floor just steps to the pools and beach. The kitchen was fully equipped and the underground parking was hugely convenient. The unit had everything we needed complete with beach chairs and boogie boards. We will absolutely be back! Thank you!

Wonderful getaway

We loved our stay. The room was spacious and very quiet. The resort has an amazing beach and large pool. Our host sent very helpful emails with resort information and great ideas for family fun before we even arrived. We would absolutely stay here again.

Ground Floor!!

We had an amazing stay in this condo. Resort like amenities with affordable pricing. It was perfect for our family. You can’t beat the ground floor access. We enjoyed sitting on the patio while the kids played in the grass, short walks to view the sunset, easy access to the beach and pools. The host was very helpful and friendly! We will be back!

Disappointed

The carpets were filthy. The view on the patio was of construction equipment and a dirt path used for the equipment. The bath mat had not be washed but simply folded up dirt and placed on the tub. We had one garbage bag, no extras for a 9 day stay. Not even close to how it was advertised. Not worth half the money charged. Very disappointed.

Nice spacious stay, lotsa pools!

We loved our stay here and enjoyed all the amenities and big spacious room. Our kids were just fine on the pull out bed and we had a nice private bedroom to ourselves, me and my husband. The kitchen was well equipped and the cleanliness was great. Our kids very much enjoyed the Roman cats and catching lizards out in the back as well as the shortcut it provided to the pool and beach. Not your fault, but it might be mentioned that there is lawn upheaval going on and the usual lush green lawn was absent on the lanai/back porch.... So not the best view, although the trees were beautiful behind it. The kids and we absolutely loved the multitude of pools, including the slide was a hit! The caves under the little waterfalls were a nice touch as well. The staff were very helpful and kind at hunua kai. We would definitely stay here again!

Excellent location and nice accommodations! Would highly recommend this listing.! Great location very close to the beach. Unit is stocked with beach chairs, umbrella and body boards. Would definitely love to come back again to this same place!

All around perfection!!!

Everything was easy, clean, and perfect. Being on the ground floor was everything!!! Plus we loved the keypad on the door, no keycard hassle when running to/from the pool and ocean! We'll be back.

Paradise in paradise…

This was the perfect location for our family! We were a mom, dad, 3 year old, and 18 month old. The condo was ground level - walk out the sliding glass door and you’re 30 steps to the honua kai pools. We grabbed coffee every morning in the on-site market and watched the whales jump from the beach. The condo was clean, well-stocked, and convenient for us. We valet’d every day, but the parking garage was fine, too. Honua Kai is the ideal location for families. Tiffany was very responsive and extremely helpful. We had a stroller delivered from a rental company, and she was gracious enough to coordinate it for us. We will definitely be staying here again!!!
