Never any trouble parking directly opposite the property, though it was outside of peak period.
My only complaint is local takeaways not staying open long enough. 」
「The only criticism i have is too late for booking in and on a personal note i think 08:30 is a little late for breakfast. Beside that i found the place fantastic. Great accommodation and friendly staff and ideally situated for exploring the lake district.」

「Spent the first half hour hoovering cobwebs from bedrooms....toilet floor was damaged and spongy......little disappointing really because we've stayed in this block of cottages before.....」
「Visable damp on the bathroom wall by the shower and a very strong smell of damp in the downstairs area including bedrooms. The owner tried to disguise the smell with air fresheners and by leaving the windows open but the smell of damp was still immediately apparent on entry.
Had we been staying longer than 2 nights and not arrived so late in the evening on the first night we would have left.
It was a real shame because everything else about the property and surrounding area was beautiful, but...
