Perfect bush stay. Thank you. I think the dining concept needs a re-think. Didn’t quite nail it. Otherwise, I really appreciated the advice from reception re things to do, heads up re booking national park passes online. The cabin was perfectly quiet, equipped, comfortable. Bit shabby, but fit for purpose. I’d ditch the “lease” type form on the table. People just want to come and relax and not worry about maintenance 😉

The best place to stay at in Jervis Bay!

This is the best place to stay at in Jervis Bay! Everything was perfect! We could not have asked for a better place to spend our vacation! The manager is the nicest and most welcoming. She went beyond the call of duty to make us confortable! If I plan to be in Jervis Bay, this is the first place I would consider to stay at! I highly recommend it!

WOW!!!

The cottage was amazing from the moment the door was opened. The cottage is extremely spacious and has everything you need; from the lounge room to the kitchen to the bathroom and outside with a BBQ and patio area. The grounds also have a shed for the kids to play and enjoy themselves. There was also a garden on site to pick your own fresh produce and enjoy with lunch and dessert. A hidden gem within the beautiful and world renowned Jervis Bay!

The property was in great condition. Fittings were very good and at a level you'd expect at this price. Location was a peaceful bushy setting. I didn't like that my expectation for this type of property at this price would be a little extra nicety such as a checkout later than 10:00am and usually a little something left in the room to give the guest a special welcome - just a small thing like a couple of local chocolates or some wine or nicer toiletries or something. There was none of that, The immediate greeting inside the unit is a prominently displayed checklist of how you, the guest, need to clean-up after yourself upon exit, and not so much as a few spices or cooking oil or continental breakfast supply in the reasonably appointed kitchen.

Post Office

It was clean and just a short drive to everything. Our accommodation was called the Post Office, it was small compared to all the rest but nice. I'd definitely come back again.

Top stay in Jervis Bay

We stayed in the Honeymoon Bay cottage and it was stunning. The bed so comfortable and the quality of furnishings and decor was beautiful. The tea & coffee supplies were plentiful and a few pantry essentials in the kitchen very thoughtful. There were plenty of towels including beach towels which were a bonus for trips to the beaches. Also a really nice touch were the top of the range vegan shampoo & conditioner supplied. The owners were really friendly and gave lots of good local tips and advice. Also there was free WiFi and the ability to log into Netflix using the TV. The grounds were so peaceful and great to watch the Kangaroos roaming round. Would definitely stay again!

Our cottage was perfect! The bed so comfortable, the quality of furnishings and decorating was beautiful. The tea & coffee supplies was very thoughtful. There was actually enough towels and even beach towels supplied. Top of the range vegan shampoo & conditioner supplied. The hosts/owners were so nice and accommodating. Plus free WiFi. We loved the grounds, they were beautiful. We’ll be back!!

AMAZING! This property is simply amazing! The cottage has everything you could need and was super clean and comfortable. This property offers so much privacy set in the bush, it is so relaxing and only a short drive to the beach! You really do get best of both worlds! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with their own privacy and amazing amenities!! Do not hesitate book now! It is worth every penny!

The General Store room we stayed in was very nice, the spa was great. Loved how quiet it was. It was so quiet that you should be able to sleep like a baby.......However.......and this is a big however.....we turned the lights off to go to sleep and there was a BIG RIDICULOUS BRIGHT RED LIGHT on the ceiling. Assuming its the smoke alarm. This was so bright that it lit up the whole room and made sleeping without an eyemask next to impossible. Its literally like staring at a laser pointer. We tried everything we could to cover it, but the ceiling was too high. I could have read a book in the room with the lights off. This was a real shame as the place is so beautiful and quiet with great character. Would not book again unless the laser pointer smoke alarm is gone.

This is the sort of accomodation that we look for everywhere we go, but rarely find. Top shelf accomodation with privacy, space and close to everything. All in a bush setting. The new owners (7 months) have set about bringing the property up to world standard and they are doing a cracking job. Several unique buildings with all amenities and parking, set in a bushland of tall trees and off the main road. Perfect. The managers are responsive, focused and nothing is a problem. My ad vice is, if you visit the Jervis Bay area get in soon. The word will get out and you won't be able to get in. Cracking spot with my highest recommendation.

Jervis Bay Retreat

Great themed General Store. Very quiet and undisturbed spot. Lovely spa bath and spacious rooms. Close to Huskisson and beaches. Would go again and recommend!

Super cute kitsch

We stayed in The General Store cottage for two nights. It was the best!! Inside is decked out with old advertisements of vintage products like arnotts saos and pears soap. The spa was great. We didn’t see any of the staff at all, and the grounds were super quiet (apart from the cicadas!) We will definitely be visiting again.
