Heart of Jamestown, In town location, 3rd floor suite, B&B style with King Bed
My home is in the heart of Jamestown island. Walking distance to the beach, marina, restaurants, market, shops, and the Newport ferry. We use top notch cleaning, which people often compliment. When you stay here you will occupy the Private 3rd floor, so you must be able to climb two sets of stairs, and carry your own luggage. You enter through the front door, pass through my living room and up to the suite where you have a King bed, bath, and sitting room. I'll be home to greet you and get you oriented. You are free to enjoy sitting at the pond. Mini fridge, Microwave, toaster, coffee, fruit and treats to start and end your day! Continental breakfast provided. We have earned a 5 star rating, and want to stay that way by making your visit safe and special, so let me know if you are celebrating a happy time. I also have a king, one bedroom apartment available on the first floor if you want a separate entrance and space, there is a 3 night minimum. Property id is 2592101. Please note there are no pets allowed, smoking or vaping on the property is prohibited.

Accommodations were impeccable! Location was perfect. Truly wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy more of it all. Connie was very welcoming to us and keeps a beautiful property.
Connie’s home was immaculate! She was so personable and very informative about the town and all the great restaurants! She was accommodating in every way, and she thought of every detail! We would totally stay here again!
Cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay in Connie and Frank’s beautiful place! No detail was spared in making us feel comfortable, welcome and totally pampered. Can’t wait to return again. 5 stars all around!!
What a wonderful stay we had at the Heart of Jamestown! From the moment we arrived, we were graciously greeted by our friendly host Connie, who provided so much helpful guidance and suggestions about the house and surrounding area. And the accommodations were amazing! Clean and spacious, with a lovely coastal vibe - and we were unexpectedly upgraded to the apartment, which was such a nice gesture! Connie provides for all of your needs for a relaxing and enjoyable time, including a bottle of wine and freshly baked goods :) We took full advantage of all the local offerings all within a very short walk. Had a wonderful dinner at Beech, visited the local bar/pub the Narragansett Cafe another night and heard a very talented band and also had breakfast at Standards across the street which was delicious! Highly recommended a visit - you will create wonderful memories here!
Connie provides her guests with the most comfortable home, very attentive to our needs, home is cozy, clean and inviting. Perfect for our stay to attend a Newport wedding and happy we allowed extra days to enjoy Jamestown too!
Frank and Connie are the friendliest hosts you could ever meet. The accommodations were superb and Connie’s homemade muffins and cookies can’t be beat. We fell in love with the peaceful town and especially the views at Beavertail state park. We would love to live here, but we will be back to visit and stay at the “Heart of Jamestown.”
Connie and Frank are friendly hosts and offer cmfortable and clean lodging on the 3rd floor of their home. Great restaurants are just steps away on main street Narragansett Ave. The ferry to Newport is just a few blocks away. Highly recommended hosts and lodging. We had a great 3-night stay.
After attending the 2024 Newport Folk Festival, we stayed overnight in Connie’s 3rd floor suite, which was very comfortable. She and her husband were helpful and hospitable. We would be happy to return for a longer stay.
Connie's property was the perfect location for our weekend getaway. She was so thoughtful and helpful going over and above in every aspect of our stay. From the personalized touches to her delicious baked goods we couldn't have picked a better host! We would definitely go back again.
Lovely, warm, comfortable. Nice choice of pillows and great king size bed. Very clean. Location is perfect: walk to the beach in the morning, walk to dinner at night. The gardens are a treat.
Connie was a great hostess. From baked goods, specific items tailored to my trip, availability, and general friendliness, the stay was everything I could ask for. Very clean and comfortable.
We loved everything about our stay this weekend! The location is perfect & Connie a wonderful hostess. Her home is immaculate! The 3rd floor suite is very comfortable and the attention to detail is flawless. The suite has everything you need, including delicious treats!! We will definitely stay here again!
Connie was just lovely! She was so communicative and made sure we were in contact through the process. Gave us a tour of the space which was absolutely perfect for the night we needed. Would highly recommend.
Connie and Frank were amazing host! The matching robes and bottle of wine to start off our vacation in Jamestown for a wedding. Everything was immaculately clean and tidy. The house is truly in the heart of Jamestown. Looking forward to another trip and staying at their place again. Thank you for being an amazing host!
Very nice stay. Third floor unit was very nicely decorated. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom very nice.
Owner supplied lots of food and snacks if needed.
A little backward having to walk through living room to get to space. No door to separate area from owners area. Other than that it was a great location and owner was very helpful when it came to sight seeing areas.

We just recently rented the 3rd floor at the Heart of Jamestown for a two night stay. I doubt I can accurately put into words just how incredible our stay there was! We arrived later than we had expected due to flight delays into Boston & getting to our rental car & through traffic. When we arrived we didn't have to search for a parking spot in the dark, there was a reserved parking spot for us off the street! We were greeted right away and led into the house. This is where I'm fumbling for the words to describe just how beautiful & welcoming the house is! It is like getting a big warm hug & feeling like you've finally made it home. It's like opening up a magazine and looking through the pages over and over & wishing you could decorate so effortlessly like that! I can only imagine how awesome it must look over the holidays & how excited their family must be when coming home for Christmas! There's nothing out of place & it is SPOTLESS, but feels lived in & cozy, not cold & sterile. I'm neurotic when I'm staying anywhere away from home. I check for loose hairs in the bedding & in the bathroom. I wear flip flops whenever I don't have my shoes on. I don't sleep well because I frankly hate sleeping in a bed & on pillows & sheets that aren't mine. I slept like a baby there!
I loved the little sitting area! The homemade cookies & muffins are too die for! I would urge anyone staying there to ask Connie & Frank the places they recommend to see & places to eat while you
We stayed in the 3rd floor suite and it was very comfortable. The unit was impeccably clean. Connie is a gracious hostess and pays attention to every detail- from her freshly baked muffins and cookies to a well stocked mini fridge and snack basket. She even stocks the bathroom with various toiletries in case you forget or run out of something. She was available if needed but very respectful of our privacy.
The bed was super comfortable and the sitting area was a nice place to unwind. Overall the stay was more similar to a bed and breakfast than your average vacation rental. Would definitely recommend.
We had the opportunity to stay for an overnight Friday into Saturday at Connie's home. What an accommodating hostess! Connie's unit was absolutely spotless and her attention to her guest's accommodations was second to none. Connie provided fresh bakery items and a complimentary bottle of wine. Midwest hospitality at its finest!!
The property is within walking distance to Jamestown's quaint downtown area and we took full advantage of the location by making a reservation at a local restaurant and walking down the street. Off street parking also a bonus. I would highly recommend checking out Connie's property for your stay in Jamestown.
Connie and Frank were most welcoming during our stay at Jamestown! Since it was our first trip to this charming little island, they provided us with a ton of helpful information about the area from restaurants, to transpo, to points of interest. Beavertail State Park being such a highlight that it became the sight of our engagement! After learning that my partner and I were engaged, Connie took it upon herself to make our stay feel extra special and we will never forget our wonderful stay in her adorable home. Her home baked cookies were stellar and if you're nice maybe you'll even get a little something from the test kitchen. ; ) We would definitely come back for a stay at Frank and Connies!
We spent 3 nights in the Suite and it is a beautiful and quaint place. The King-sized bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was nicely updated and had fluffy towels, robes, and all of the essentials. The lovely sitting area was a great place to read and enjoy Connie’s delicious homemade cookies and coffee cake. There was yogurt, juice, fresh fruit, cereal, and milk available- along with coffee and tea. The backyard seating area with a very pretty and peaceful Koi pond was a great place for us to enjoy wine and a cheese plate that we ordered from a local gourmet shop. Most remarkably, Connie and Frank are such kind and gracious hosts! We felt very comfortable and relaxed during our stay. Jamestown is a beautiful island with 2 amazing State Parks. Newport is a quick drive across the bridge, or a nice Ferry boat ride is available round trip. We highly recommend this property- thank you Connie and Frank!
This feels more like staying at a B&B or spa than it did as a regular rental. Connie has thought of every last detail imaginable-from the fully stocked bathroom vanity to the bottle of wine and the well-thought out snacks. The mini fridge had complimentary beverages and snacks and there were fresh baked items on our coffee table that Connie even restocked on our second day there. There was no reason to go elsewhere for breakfast. My friend and I enjoyed coffee, hardboiled eggs, bakery items and orange juice...all compliments of Connie! We saved her delicious home made chocolate chip cookies as our late night snack. And if you're a stickler for cleanliness, trust me, this is the place for you. Simply put, this space is immaculate! I highly recommend this for anyone looking to be near Newport but enjoys the peace and quiet of lovely, small town. The drive into Newport is less than 15 minutes or you can take the ferry. Connie is so helpful and communicative. We felt like we were staying at a friend's house our entire time there. We think this may be an annual tradition of ours!
We stayed in the 3rd floor suite on 13-15 Aug. After booking we received full details from Connie on parking, arrival times, contact info and local restaurant information. Everything we needed to prepare for our stay.
When we arrived, we were met by Connie and Frank who are extremely friendly and gracious hosts. The accommodations were exactly as listed/pictured, flawlessly clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. There were homemade muffins, scones, and cookies along with chocolates and a snack basket. The mini fridge was well stocked with water, OJ, fruit etc. and even a bottle of their wine in the bedroom.
We immediately could tell that they take great pride in providing you with the best possible experience as in addition to the goodies already mentioned, Connie made us a special plate of chocolate covered strawberries for our anniversary. The following day she even went out of her way to buy a couple of champagne glasses when she realized she had none at the house (we had mentioned earlier we had brought plastic cups!)
The restaurants, shops, beach, and ferry are all within a few minutes walk.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and our conversations with Connie and Frank.
We will definitely return and would recommend as a place to stay.
Connie and Frank thank you again for everything.
