Loved my king bed room with big windows facing Mt Fuji with a private onsen. Rooms are new and buffet breakfast has a wide selection with floor to ceiling windows. Overnight stay didn’t allow us to explore Laforet complex.

Dinner served as all-you-can-eat tasted so good . However the meat served individually was a bit fatty. Unfortunately,A recommended cocktail was very disappointing. that taste was like cough medicine.

Comfortable staying for athletical family.
Very cozy and quiet place to stay. My family loves Onsen and onsen swimming pool both. The room is large enough to stay with two children using Futon sets. We also used the gym in La Foret and we enjoyed playing free basketball, badminton, ping-pong, and volleyball !

The hotel is pretty good and in a peaceful area surrounded by nature. Super clean and with a professional but friendly staff. We had a little problem when we entered our room, as we found two cockroaches running around, but in five minutes they upgraded to a better room. Dinner was nice, too!

A nice stay but the free bottles of water in the room were ignored from the day of checking in and even the next day room refreshed while we had to remind two times. However, it’s a nice place to stay, and the staffs were so kindly and helpful. We stayed 3 nights. It’s suitable for self driving trip as the hotel is up on a hillside and have car parking place.

The facility is great. It's new, clean and the service is excellent. However the location of this hotel is very remote. You need a car or need to take a shuttle from the train station. There is absolutely nothing around the hotel. There is one restaurant in the hotel, the food is mediocre and a bit over priced.

An excellent stay
Hotel quite new. BIG modern room. I booked a room with a private onsen on the balcony which was extremely nice to enjoy as often as you want without feeling uncomfortable in the hotel open onsen. Service was first class (English speaking, warm, friendly and helpful). Wifi fast. Breakfast good variety. I had the dinner as part of package during the New Year period, dinner quality quite decent. English TV channel limited though. Didn't use the golf/tennis facilities due to cold weather during visit. Overall, an excellent stay.

This hotel stay was spectacular! The staff was amazing, they even upgraded our room upon arrival! The hotel was clean and gorgeous. The location was quiet and convenient to drive to nearby locations. Highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Izu!

Great room with outdoor onsen. Remote location.
Room was spacious with outdoor onsen. Semi buffet dinner quite good although choice is limited. Unfortunately the GPS of the rented car cannot locate the telephone number of the hotel. Glad we use Google map to help. Hotel located uphill and basically nothing nearby. Must drive.

Good stay but don’t let them pay in US dollars!!
The hotel was nice and is situated in a beautiful setting. The days when we were there, the weather was good and views of Mt Fuji were spectacular at different times of the day. Food and hot spring baths were also good. One thing that was really bad was that when we were checking out, a clerk asked if we wanted to pay in Japanese yen or the US dollars, and I replied dollars thinking that the conversion would be the same or close to my VISA card. Boy, was I wrong. The conversion rate was horrible and they charged me a 5% mark up on top of the bad exchange rate. Had I payed in yen and let VISA converted, I would have paid about $2,600, but because Marriott converted, I paid over $2,800, the difference of about $200! A lesson learned. Just pay in local currencies when traveling abroad. However Marriott definitely should told me about the conversion/exchange fee.

The facility was what you would expect from a Marriott. Clean, well appointed and generally well run. The food in the restaurant was good with a choice of differing cuisines. The location is quite remote so is very quiet and peaceful. However, its proximity to the main roads mean it is a great place to use as a base when exploring the local area. We were given a lovely room with a view of Mount Fuji. The room is of a more modern style with a table & large sofa which is fine when on holiday. For us the highlight of the stay was the staff. The young man on the front desk who looked after us from check-in all the way through to check-out was especially helpful. He could simply not do enough for us. Similarly, the gentleman senior waiter in the restaurant was always friendly and helpful. Throughout our stay, people always tried to help. Even though we are unable to speak Japanese, the staff team all worked very hard to explain things to us in English. A great effort all round. We would certainly look at staying here again.

マリオットでもとても個人まりしたホテルで、概して綺麗ですが、大浴場などは清潔感はあるものの古さが否めないです。702号室でした。部屋は快適。強いていうとTVがベットから見るととても小さいので大きくしてもらえるといいかと思います。 冷蔵庫は無料のお水2本以外空っぽにしてあるので、何か買っていくとお部屋でもゆっくり楽しめると思います。お部屋から綺麗な富士山がくっきりと見え絶景でした。ジップラインも初めてトライしましたが最高でした。

誕生日旅行
20歳の誕生日で家族旅行で利用させて頂きました。 1泊2日で温泉もあり岩盤浴は予約制で予約をすれば入れるみたいです。 ジムとテニスも利用でき朝はビュッフェ夜はレストランもありペットも連れて行けてペット専用の場所もあったと思います。 設備はすごい充実していて足りないぐらい本当に満足で最高なホテルでした。 また是非利用させて頂きます。
