the staff were very strict, and not very helpful. the hotel has too many rules. very expensive for the service they provide, but excellent location and a very nice breakfast. when I asked for late check out the answer was NO more than 1 hour, I understand the rooms need to be cleaned but there should be some flexibility. the staff control the air-condition in your room, and I have to call 3 times to turn it on.

Good for the price, especially when travelling solo or with a small family. Shower was tiny, not suitable for a big person. It gets noisy due to traffic on the road, but it is close to Taksim and Istiklal st, so u cant ask for much for the price. Entrance lobby is very small. Elevator is also only for 1 or 2 person max.

The hotel have very arrogant staff at reception. Cleaning of room not done everyday. Even a small bottle of water is denied. Breakfast starts at 8, by 9 most of the items are finished. On demand they say supply didn’t come and sorry. The front office person have no knowledge of surroundings. Even shuttle going to airport, be have no clue.

Awful, had to book somewhere else at last minute

AVOID! Arrived to be told at reception that I did not have a reservation. Despite showing them my reservation as a printout and on my phone they still insisted I did not have one. Said they may have something later and agreed to text me within a couple of hours if they did. No text, so had to run around like an idiot trying to find something else nearby. If that wasn't bad enough got a text much later in to the evening saying "was I coming"?!?!?!?! Now seemed that actually I was right all along, despite the adamant guy at reception, and I did in fact have a reservation. Told them I had already sorted myself out and no I wasn't "coming". Finally the icing on the cake was a reply quite a bit later, saying they "wouldn't charge me for the room!" Too right, they wouldn't charge me, I should have billed them for my time and the extra cost incurred sorting out their mess!!! Maybe a huge apology might have been a better response?? AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!

Ich habe bei Ankunft gleich gecancelt, Weill das Zimmer viel zu kalt und zu klein für 2 Personen war. Ich habe aber gleich 250 Euro an die Unterkunft bezahlt. Bin aber kein einziger reg dort untergekommen. Der Expedia soll es wissen, dass der Rezeption 270 Euro kassiert hat270

The staff of Kartal Palace were absolutely amazing, everyone were extremely helpful and polite even when they saw struggling in the market. However, the room we stayed was very friendly, we had a building beam in the center of the room that made difficult to maneuver around. The noise from the square was a bit too much. However, the hotel was close to everything and the service was great.
