There was no lift. The rooms were tiny. The staff didn’t speak English except one person who wasn’t available all the time. The surrounding area was nice but we had to get taxi to places as the metro was always full. I had to tell myself I was there for a short time because I wasn’t happy with the hotel.

Only for basic staying. Very hot and wet night and no a/c. Also no lift to take you to rooms which all are on top floors. Next time I’ll choose the hotel next to this one (which I regret that I rejected based on the photos of this hotel... misleading)

this hotel is not for vacationers. The staff are not welcoming. the curtains were very old. no air conditioning and nobody respects the non-smoking instructions. it smoked everywhere. sorry for the price it shows but you should not recommend staying at this hotel.

Really bad hotel despite friendly staff

Friendly staff, near tram that take you directly to Istanbuls tourist areas and metro system, some local shops and restaurants nearby and low price BUT: very few of the staff spoke english at all, not all advices at how to get to the airport were correct and not a woman-friendly area at all. Difficult to find. Extremly low standard room, had a ordinary double, just one bed had duvet, the other one had a bed throw. The tiny bathroom was full of mould, had a broken door, and no light exept from around mirror. The shower is mounted directly at the wall, no curtain, the water goes all over the floor and had to take out everything. No shampoo only a little pice of soap. A lot of sigarett smoking, also inside at evenings as staff friends playing card in the reception/breakfast ares. No aircondition but a noisy dusty fan that threaten to fall down on us. No view, only into the next poor hotel, one meter away...Bad wi-fi. Bad breakfast with overboiled eggs that were heaten up from the day(s) before (green with black spots around egg yolk) and bad thin coffee (also heaten up), recycled olives and cheese. Got food poisoned. Not enough places to sit for all the guests at breakfasttime. Thin walls, heard everything..including male arabic singing to late at night. Hate to say this because of the nice staff, but cannot recommend this hotel or staying in this area. Better off living near the sights as tram is packed during rushhours, even if on a budget.

Hôtel agréable avec un bon rapport qualité prix.

Hôtel situé près des transports, très bien entretenu avec un accueil très agréable. J’ai eu un problème de fuite dans la salle de bain qui a été rapidement géré par la réception. Plutôt calme, avec quelques chats très sages qui se promènent dans les escaliers. Une très bonne expérience, même en tant que femme seule.

Great service, great breakfast, great location Located near bus station, trams, metro. Historic area with parks. Great grocery and restaurants nearby. Great breakfast, lots of fruits, very well presented. Front desk printed out travel documents which saved me a trip to a print shop. Boutique hotel, room, hallways are dated but clean. My room had a fan instead of AC, which I preferred for the weather. For the price, solid 8.5 to 9 due to service, location and breakfast.
