Pleasant stay

It was a short 2 night connecting flight stay very friendly atmosphere at the welcome and stay was comfortable and shuttle was arranged to go to the airport. All the members of staff and owner were chearful.

Номер очень маленький, совсем не такой как на фотографиях. Не понравилось, что не было фена в номере, хотя на сайте указывалось, что он есть. В номере ползали муравьи, босиком не походишь. Стены очень тонкие, допоздна слышали все, что происходит в холле. В комнате одно маленькое окно, можно считать, что его и нет, очень темно. Единственный плюс это персонал.

We had a very good stay at this family hotel. The personel was very friendly and the kids had a lot of fun. Good breakfast and very delicious chay and turkish coffee! The hotel is located at a very good location, it was easy for us to visit all the nearby monuments and mosques.

Un hôtel cauchemardesque, FUYEZ FUYEZ FUYEZ...!!!!

Quelle honte! Les photos publiées ne reflètent pas du tout l'établissement celles qui sont prises sont faites de sorte que l'on ne voit pas l'état vétuste et les malfaçons des chambres. Certaines photos doivent correspondre à un autre hôtel. Les prises murales sortent du mur 'attention aux enfants), les murs et les matelas sont sales (allergiques n'oubliez pas votre ventoline!), la salle de bain est pleine de moisissures, carrelage mal posé, vasque mal fixé, aucune aération ce qui donne une odeur de toilette public dans toute la chambre. Accueil souriant mais très bruyant, notre chambre se situé face à la réception où des discussions animées se tenaient jusque tard dans la nuit tous les soirs. Le wifi est très très très lent...quand il fonctionne. La cerise "SOUS" le gâteau le petit déjeuner ridicule, nous avions droit à une assiette avec exactement: 10 olives, 2 morceaux de concombre,2 morceaux de fromage, 3 morceaux de tomates et une portion de beurre, chocolat, miel et du pain. Le café ou thé devait être demandé. AUCUN BUFFET!!! C'est pas possible que cet hôtel ait autant de 5 étoiles et une note de 8 par Tripadvisor, les avis doivent être trafiqués par les gérants. Cet hôtel est une honte pour la Turquie il ne reflète pas les autres hôtels dans lesquels j'ai pu séjourné qui était très à cheval sur la propreté. Si vous tapez sur google "Family Istanbul Hotel" vous trouverez les vraies photos du délabrement et de la saleté de cet hôtel.

hotellets ejer (ajvaz) var meget hjælpsom/flinke og også De andre medarbejder. Hotellet var meget tæt på sultanahmet moskkeen og også de andre steder såsom tog. Hotellets inventar var pænt men det var lidt slidt og gammelt møbler. Morgenmads stedet var en lille hyggelig sted, hvor der var musik fra deres computer og samtale med ejermanden. Det ville være lækkert med buffet muligheder men morgenmaden var også ok i forhold til prisen.

Es ist ein sehr gemütliches Hotel, man fühlt sich wie daheim. Für den Preis, sollte man auch keine hohen Erwartungen haben. Für wenig Geld hat man saubere Zimmer und ein unheimlich freundliches zuvorkommendes Personal. Stets mit einem lächeln im Gesicht auf Zufriedenheit der Kunden ausgerichtet. Aufgrund der etwas dunkleren Optik wirkt es auf den ersten Blick eventuell etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig aber für solch einen Preis sollte man auch nicht mehr erwarten. Man fühlt sich wohl, es ist sauber und es ist 100% Vertrauen seitens des Personal gegeben, ich glaube das ist das wichtigste. Ich würde wieder hingehen.

room we occupied (a double then a triple) was very uncomfortable and small. the bed was very worn out, a leg of the bed was missing thus the bed was skew and uncomfortable. toilet was loose, almost no hot water, furniture outdated and a broken tv for show, wi-fi very slow and "toiletries"non -existent

Close proximity to sights + friendliest people

We stayed at this hotel for 8 nights in January, 2018! I have never felt so welcome and helped as during this stay in this hotel! The owner and all staff were helpful and insightful with all our questions! They made our stay in Istanbul pleasant and easy! They helped us book tickets and they provided much guidance about directions and the organisation of our day! We also consumed an absurd amount of tea during our stay! In terms of location, this hotel is at the bottom of a hill and is a 5-10 minute walk (depending on your pace) to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia in the Sultanahmet area! There is a tram stop near the Blue Mosque which is a few stops from the Grand Bazaar and the Egyptian Spice Bazaar! This hotel is a great place to base your explorations of the many sights in the Sultanahmet area including the Basilica Cistern, Topkapi Palace, Archaeology Museum etc! I highly recommend this hotel! When I come back to Istanbul this is where I will be staying! There's also a lovely cafe/bar/restaurant across the street (Mitara) which I highly recommend!
