If you are looking for a very quiet location with country views, then this is the place. The expansive grounds and pool area are very well maintained. The staff are excellent and certainly make you feel welcome and they are also very helpful. There are only about 20 rooms. Nice touch is providing two bathrobes. Vila Monte was simply spectacular! The rooms were spacious and beautiful and the grounds were breathtaking! Rui and Oliver at A Terra were so sweet, Ana from housekeeping was just lovely, and Bruno at eh pool was just great! We will definitely be back again but next time stay longer!!

The property was clean, quiet and also elegant. The courtyard was being excavated for Roman and Moorish ruins which was pretty unbelievable. The pool was a delight and breakfast had every option. We will be back.

This place is perfectly appointed, check in was so easy and amazing, and you have anything you need. Be pleasantly prepared to experience Ritz Carlton style service! The front desk staff were the most friendly, gracious and helpful of all staff we have encountered in nearly six weeks of European travel. The hotel is in a quiet area of the very pleasant city of Loulé within easy walking distance of the historic old narrow street part of the town. In addition to typical breakfast food, included was a delightful selection of fresh fruit and an excellent espresso or café machine.
