A perfect blend of stylish décor, comfortable surroundings and fantastic views await inside this stunning cottage. Set in 30 acres of grounds, including a fishing lake, which adds a unique backdrop to your break away. Inside on the ground floor, you will find a large open-plan living room with woodburner for those chilly evenings, opening onto a sun trap conservatory and south facing garden and patio area. The kitchen is well equipped with a large oak table as the centrepiece for dining. In addition, there is a quiet snug room, ideal for children, and a convenient shower room and toilet. Upstairs the bedrooms are light, airy and offering spacious comfort. There is a large family bathroom and also a further en-suite off the master bedroom. Granary Cottage is only 10 minutes from Ipswich, and conveniently located giving you easy access to the Heritage Coast, Woodbridge and the undulating country walks Suffolk has to offer. Beach 15 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.

Perfect getaway with beautiful surroundings

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay at Granary Cottage. Our hosts were very welcoming and the bottle of red given to us on arrival was very kind. The view of the grounds and valley beyond was beautiful and great for exploring. The fishing lake was a big hit with our teenager and our 4 yr old loved feeding the sheep. The cottage itself was very comfortable and spacious. My only suggestion would be blackout curtains in the bedrooms! It was very light by 5.30am! Felixstowe seafront was a lovely day trip to the beach (only half an hour away in the car). We would love to visit again as it met all our needs and felt like a home away from home with extras!

Great location with fantastic views.

Great location with fantastic views. Cottage is very good but in need of some tender loving care. Examples: only 4 mugs, cutlery shortage, downstairs toilet flush button missing etc.Cottage hadn't been cleaned when we arrived due to miss communication. Sorted quickly by the owner / cleaners. These things happen but perhaps indicative that just a little more care and attention is required
