Heritage hotel

It’s a heritage building with lots of history. The room is very cozy and the staff are very helpful. Will definitely stay here when I visit Ipoh again

The hotel staff there were very warm and welcoming. We like the heritage style hotel a lot. Amenities and facilities were limited but enough for us. We had a pleasant stay during our 2 nights in Ipoh. Highly recommend this hotel to all visitors.

Colonial style, well-maintained, perfect service!

Beautiful old colonial hotel with high-quality traditional furniture (perfectly maintained and freshly painted). Exceptionally lovely service by the owner, who pays good attention to needs and advice. Breakfast and lunch is in the same building (from same owner + discount) and in the same style. Also food is near-perfection.

Great hotel and location. The staff were so friendly and accomodating. Only issue were some safety concerns in the room such as stairs being uneven and slippery. Also no lifts so suitcases have to be carried up multiple staircases.

Beautiful heritage stay in the heart of Ipoh Old Town. Close to everything you want to see and do in the Old Town. Building was full of character, and the rooms felt unique.

I have no idea why this place is rated so well. The standouts of my stay were the awful hygiene and non-existent sound proofing. The toiletry container had heaps of beard hair all over the toiletries. One of the tea cups had not one but two giant lipstick marks on it. The windows were useless when it came to sound insulation. I was in the room facing away from the main street yet I could still hear traffic noise and definitely the call to prayer from the nearby mosque at 5am in the morning. Would not recommend a stay here to other travellers.

We enjoyed our stay in the loft apartment, only one chair upstairs and down was a problem with two people if you wanted to watch tv. A small fridge would have been appreciated.

Probably the best and nicest place to stay in the heart of historic Ipoh. Very clean, convenient (an easy walk from the train station) and quirky - lots of character - each room different configuration and decor in this converted historic building. Enjoyed our stay. Staff very friendly too. We (as a couple) stayed in the smallest loft room which was small but perfect for us for a few nights. We left our reservation until late and it was the only room available over a weekend. The aircon was very effective (thankfully) as it was high temperatures and humidity during our stay even by local standards. Very clean and shower pressure great. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Ipoh (based upon other options we looked into) from both a location and amenity perspectives.
