"The "Hotel" is actually a set of apartment rentals in a very large, gated condo development being built on a supposedly protected coastline in Basilicata. Substantial sections of the development appear unfinished or abandoned. The apartments are large, air conditioned and well furnished and ideal for a week-to-month beach stay with children. The quite beautiful beach is a substantial walk away, but serviced by a development-owned shuttle van. The development isn't near anything else, so unless...

"Es un alojamiento para el verano. Llegamos y estaba cerrado. Esperamos 3 horas para alojarnos. Pudimos hacerlo a las 10 de la noche. Los amigos del dueño fantásticos. El dueño muy bien, intentó resolver lo mejor que pudo."

"Posizione dell hotel ottima vicinissima alla spiaggia. Camera arredamento un po vecchiotto, ma tutto sommato siamo stati bene. Abbiamo cenato in albergo ,che dire tutto buono ,menù completo dal primo alla frutta compreso le bevande. Abbiamo deciso di pranzare anche il giorno dopo. Un forte abbraccio al responsabile del ricevimento al sig. Giuseppe molto gentile. ( la spiaggia secondo me non si dovrebbe pagare )"

"Dated hotel, terrible customer service, room not cleaned for 2 days and even then we had to ask several times, asked to sit at a dirty table at breakfast on day one ignored every morning after that, hard to get a coffee at breakfast let alone a hot one, terrible attitude of majority of staff. Room was ok, when cleaned. Would definitely not recommend to English visitors, probably okay for Italian Nationals"

"So now and then the pictures you see in the brochure matches the reality you see on the ground - Miceneo is one of them. Wonderful southern-Italians were pleasant. Just a short 8 minutes drive from the beach, it is perfectly located and gave us a real taste of Italian hospitality. Nine days were just too short."
