This hotel is unlike anything I have seen in Japan. It has California/Palm Springs vibes thanks to the modern open air architecture, white washed clean buildings, amazing indoor/outdoor flow, and fantastic location right on the water.
We stayed in one of the private cottages which face the water and we had an unobstructed view of the bridge. Despite being about 50m back from the waters edge, our cottage had an amazing breezy and almost tropical feel. Thanks to the very cleverly laid out...

Such a quaint and charming place! The hotel reflects traditional Japanese architecture and decor. Very delicious Japanese breakfast. Extremely satisfied!! Close to bunny island too! The hotel staff helped us get a taxi to get to the bunny island dock.

Delicious breakfasts and dinner. Kind, friendly staff. Amazing spa bath and spacious living quarters just a short walk to Dogo Onsen. It was a lovely and relaxing experience. I would most definitely stay here again.

Loved the room and private bath. Beds were super comfortable as well. I would say it was like a memory foam bed. It was like the bed I have at home. Loved it. Staff was very nice as well. Breakfast was delicious as well.

My husband and I stayed here two nights with other family members. Our room was a double bed and theirs was two twin beds. Their room was quite a bit larger than ours, so keep that in mind if you’re staying with someone else. The bed was firm and the pillows were very thin, but it was easy to get more from the amenities room. Staff members were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was good—lots of options and easy to get a table. Location was very close to everything we wanted to do. We’d stay here...

This is a newer hotel right next to the iconic Dogo Onsen building. Super easy to don a yukata (included use with room) and go to the Dogo original which has been recently restored to it’s prior glory, and the Dogo annex which features a cool projection system to bring the bath tile murals to life. Breakfast is a wonderful Japanese menu served at the sushi restaurant on the first floor. With the street car station, both Dogo and the rest of what Matsuyama has to offer is within reach.

MAP was wrong, wrong, wrong! I used Safari It looks like hotel is RIGHT across the street from Dogo Onsen. This is the only reason I chose this hotel. It is not there, but 3-400 meters away.
Hotel itself was great. Staff were very nice.
