「Choose other place. I found the dirty cloth on my desk when I came in and a big fry in my room. This hotel is very old and not pleasant to stay. It is very far from any place you want to go. I choose this place by seeing the picture. But I did not find anything there on the picture. Do not stay here. 」

「Room air con made a lot of noise to no effect, consequently room was hot at night. Bathroom extractor fan broken and room smelt damp. Wash basin plug did not seal effectively requiring tap to be left running when in use. Breakfast good. Position excellent for RSC.」

「Lovely grounds and building. The staff, especially Shabila, were welcoming. Shabila is relentless in ensuring that everything is satisfactory. We stayed on a Sunday and so it wasn’t busy and there was a relaxed atmosphere. Excellent evening meal and breakfast. We had a good price for the room, so it was excellent value for money. The only suggestion would be to look at the heating in the Pear Tree rooms. It was very hot. 」

「Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The only thing that was disappointing was when returning to my locker in the spa changing rooms the key broke in two whilst trying to get the locker open. I had to ask someone to inform staff who then got the locker open eventually minus a pound. The lockers were in need of updating.」
